Aircon broke down in the middle of the night. Shortage of towels - had called twice and no one came with towels.

Accommodating to my Father who was in a wheel chair and required disability facilities. Breakfast variety was amazing and they would change it up every other day. Room service was prompt and the food tasted delicious. Pool was great for the kids and easy access to the beach. The rooms were clean and were closer to the reception area. Great customer service from the point of entry until we left the resort.

There is some inconsistency with staff and their designated duties and the areas of responsibility, particularly who does what around the pool area. There is no kids club. Note: there was nothing wrong with the property itself.

It was situated in a convenient location not far from central Apia. Well presented, fun evening activities, large clean pool area, lovely complementary massage vouchers and safe beach area. Food was excellent! It has a relaxing ambiance

The extremely long wait periods for beverages or food, almost near 40mins to get service and that's 10mins too long, absolutely ridiculous, when you approach bar staff seems as though they all try to avoid eye contact or don't want to serve you it's ridiculous

A la carte food was expensive and basic. Car parks should be prioritised for inhouse guests with vehicles with a better system to identify who they are. Maybe a card system like the pool towel system?

Location and friendly staff. Activities offered were a good way to learn more about the Samoan culture. Breakfast had a good variety.

The customer service needs to step up. They were all lovely but lacked initiative. You could be standing there for a while either at reception the restaurant or bar and you had to wave or interrupt. It would be good also if they walked around the pool more to take food and drink orders

Rooms are tired and need a thorough spring clean. There were German cockroaches in our room but we weren’t too fussed with those as long as they weren’t the giant ones.

Loved the pool and staff! The air conditioner unit in our room was a life saver from the heat. Drinks and food were great too! Different activities available and close enough to town when needing to branch out.

The buffet meals were a bit disappointing. The food looked good but was barely warm in temperature. We thought it was a one off the first time. We actually requested a refund the second time. This was provided without any issues.

Perfect location but to appreciate more of the island you should rent a car for a couple of days and explore. Getting around Apia is cheap by taxi. The staff were brilliant and hard working. The resort was very well maintained and the pool area is just marvellous. Breakfast was great for us though we are not big breakfast eaters. The meals from the restaurants were very good. We did not participate in any of the organised activities but thoroughly enjoyed some of the nightly entertainment. The karaoke night on Mondays is great fun with some incredibly talented locals as well as guests.

The nightly entertainment, involving average at best 'cabaret' performers or karaoke was loud, annoying, went on too late and was generally unwelcome. When we wanted to enjoy a quiet nightcap on our balcony we had instead to endure high volume caterwauling and screeching. A shame because it could be a much classier establishment otherwise.

Location fabulous, the property is very well designed with room spaced around the 'island' and centered on the pool. The facilities were great, we enjoyed swimming and snorkelling off the beach. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The food is not very good. The menu is the same for all 3 restaurants which just doesn’t make sense. The food seems all pre packed . The menu definitely needs to be changed for all 3 restaurants. Food not hot when served. And really having one sugar bowl for everyone to use at breakfast is disgusting. Get a new chef!

The staff are friendly, especially the guys in charge of activities. The wait staff really need more training in taking orders and getting the drink orders out quicker. On the upside, they serve the best frozen margaritas

The only issue we really had was the service we received from the bar staff when having food and drink. Some occasions were good but mostly just very slow, a couple of wrong orders and we wouldn't get acknowledge by staff the times we went up to the till to pay for our orders. If this service was better you almost wouldn't need to leave the resort

We really enjoyed our stay at Taumeasina. Our flight ended up being cancelled and the reservation team made shifting our dates so easy and were so lovely even though we were so stressed about the situation. We had an ocean view room and loved the view and being able to wake up each morning and see the ocean. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The included breakfast was amazing with so many different things to choose from - eggs, bacon, sausages, cheeses, fresh fruit, pastries and even an omelette station where they made it fresh with the toppings of your choice Most nights there was entertainment so we were able to sit outside around the pool area and enjoy food and drinks

Booked 6 months in advance and asked for the two rooms booked together or close by. We weren’t. Staff didn’t really seem to care. Watch what is being charged to your room too - some of the charges were incorrect

There isn't enough staff in the restaurant & bar to service the many guests. We would've ordered at least twice as much if we had the chance to do so. Had to wait until 3pm to checkin as our room wasnt ready at the normal 2pm checkin time.

It's very wow-factor, has great facilities and activities, amazing location. Really loved the resort overall. Taumeasina has quite different, faster-paced vibe to the resorts on the South Coast.

The rooms have a beautiful view of the water and are comfortable, however the rooms are in desperate need of a refresh as they are run down and not as clean as you expect for what you pay. Some of the front desk staff could use some additional training as the level of service varies depending on who you speak to. However the staff members who we encountered in the restaurant on both morning and evening shifts were exceptional as they were attentive and hospitable and went above and beyond to look after us and everyone they dealt with. The food is a hit and miss, however the Thursday BBQ Buffet night was the absolute best!!

The facilities and activities offered are fantastic!! Perfect for those with kids and are looking to relax and not have to leave the property. They offer something different each night, and Monday Karaoke night was very popular! They left snacks for us in the room each night, with the schedule of what’s happening the next day which was a lovely touch.
