didn’t like the way Cindy spoke to the guests on Monday night the 5 of June, we pay top dollar and the last thing we want is someone spoiling our evening.

There were multiple instances of almost being charged incorrectly :( before we arrived I was messaged that the whole bill is to be settled instead of the first night as written into the payment terms. Then when checking out being asked to pay the full 5 nights when I had already paid the first night in advance. The workers themselves were apologetic and provided good customer service, I just think organisation wise these areas need to be improved heavily. Room service took over 2 hours and I had to call the kitchen 5+ times to ask where my order was, in the end I just had to leave the room and ask someone at the bar if our food was still coming lol. Our room was mostly clean, except the coffee cups with spoons upon arrival had not been properly inspected as they were actually used. I think to give Taumeasina credit, the resort was overly crowded with all the events happening in such a short space of time but please plan better if you’re aware the resort will be inundated with guests.

Loved everything about this place from staff to facilities and food, wow! We planned a last minute trip for my birthday and the staff were so kind to write a birthday card for me with a free fruit bowl ready upon arrival. Also the cold cloth, fresh lemonade & pretty flower necklaces that we each received upon arrival was much appreciated. The location is perfect and food was best in town!! The staff were all very friendly too! We stayed there during a busy time due to the Motherland concert and it was great to have met so many artists there too. The beds were so comfortable!

the rooms we stayed in felt very run down, smelt sewagey a bit and did not feel or look like the pictures online.. even had to chase away a few creepy crawlies. The food was also very bland for the expensive price you need to pay

There was nothing really to dislike about Taumeasina, staff are trying to become more and more customer/ guests focused, and management are always trying to improve staff services all round, at times we waited probably a bit longer for drinks to arrive on our table but they definitely are improving that side of things, definitely not a crisis.

Breakfast was amazing, lots of variety to choose from, always being replenished, and standby chef cooking fresh omelets to your liking, she was busy!!! Very popular, location was stunning, we would have liked to have stayed further out towards the ocean front as their views we superior, but still very happy with our room location. Was always a daily program delivered to our room about the daily activities available around the resort, well informed, Monday night was meet the GM and management team, we had a great 15 minutes chat with the GM Nathan who ran us through the time of covid pre covid and post the difficulty of when good staff leaving offshore and rebuilding the new staffing conditions, they have come a long way and have to be commended, food all round was delicious and lots of different cuisine on the menu to choose from as well as the scrumptious buffets and desserts, snorkeling was amazing, pool also well presented, watched the team put down the umu the samoan tradition of cooking , guys looking after the activities were great demonstration of weaving and helping guests with getting snorkeling gear and kayaking, the traditional dancing culture team did an excellent job with Fiafia night a must see, I am born and raised in Samoa but been living in New Zealand for over 30 plus years and all the times I have returned to visit I must say Taumeasina Resort is the best to date, also I would like to thank Nathan and the team for rescuing my 3 shirts I left behind in our room closet and even offered to post them over to NEW ZEALAND but said it's ok and that my mum and dad or brother who lived there would collect, so will definitely visit Taumeasina in November this year again for a week's stay,

I book this room through booking.com and rate was to be the lowest we paid 633.00 for two nights however we had to add an extra night and hotel direct was 170.00 a night I asked manager if anything they can do and he said NO but as a reservation manager myself I know something could have been done. Customer service to help clients very low on the list. They gave me several excuses so my complaint is to your booking engine it should have been the best rate I doubled paid for the same room very disappointed in hotel manager and booking.com I use this app all the time but this makes me think. Prices should be comparable or close to what hotel is offering I feel I over paid for the 2 nights.

there were cob webs on the wall, we stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment. there were no dish washing tablets for the dish washer, there was only 1 bag holder in each room when there were 6 of us.

the views were good to wake up to, the staff were lovely and friendly. Shout out to Michael for his generosity and help during out stay, legend!

Awful service. I had to ask for something to be done multiple times in order for it to be done. Food was super average and so expensive. It was raining most of the time during our stay, and it was so disappointing that they did not have any indoor activities or area for our two year old son to play in

Would highly recommend staying here! Has great facilities such as different pools, access to the beach, a track to run or walk on the outskirts of the island and exercise stations. The complementary breakfast is amazing. The staff are super friendly and really helpful which made the stay more enjoyable :)

The location is sublime with unimpeded beach/ocean views. Facilities are excellent and the activity staff were outstanding in their care and time with guests. Breakfast was good with a wide variety of choices, including individualised egg station, lots of good fruits and some nice pastries. The welcome was unexpected and one of the best in Pacific!!

I felt that the staff manager was treating the staff with disrespect. I could observe this a few times during my stay.

The breakfast buffet had everything and moe on offer. I loved the cultural activities during the day, and the possibility to go snorkeling and kayaking at any time. The staff was very friendly and always helpful!

Everything! I can not even find fault. The food, the room, the pool were outstanding. From the time we arrived to when we left we were met with smiles and that warm Samoan hospitality. We were all soo sad to leave. This is hands down going to be our go to when we come Samoa

This is a over priced resort and the customer service was terrible. We had high expectations and did not enjoy our stay, we received way better service from other resorts esp the ones that are far from town. Our room had limited space which was not convenient for us as we were with our 2year old son, the service was slow and we noticed the staff treated us differently compared to other tourists with ethnicities other than Samoan. Other resorts are more family/kid friendly and have resources that are convenient. The staff at Taumeasina really do discriminate and prioritises pakeha people compared to overseas Samoan people which is completely unfair as we paid the same price. We are also guests and should be treated accordingly and I’m just appalled by their negative attitude towards us. It’s advertised as one of the top resorts in Samoa but in reality it’s the opposite. I would definitely not recommend this resort to anyone, really poor service.
