We had a great stay - the room was self-contained and private. I really appreciated the well-furnished cooking area and the lovely selection of local snacks and drinks. The rest of the room was also no exception, and we felt really well taken care of by Anthea, our host.

I can really not fault anything at this over night accommodation. Great stay. Next door dogs were barking a lot that was disturbing to me, but I am a light sleeper and out of the hosts control

This is very nice place to sleep over, you have everything you need and even more. Small detail in the unit very nice touch . Spacious , decorated with care and style. We enjoyed the stay over. Anthea was an amazing host and her cottage is beautifully decorated. Everything you could want or need while away from home was catered for. She has put a lot of thought and effort into making 1 Queen Vic a comfortable and clean getaway.

It would be useful to have more lighting during the frequent load shedding periods.

The accommodation is in a quiet street in a convenient location, within walking distance from many of the town’s restaurants and shops. It is very comfortable and has a lovely covered terrace overlooking the pretty garden, though it was too cold and wet when we were there for us to sit outside. Anthea gave us a warm welcome and had arranged many nice touches like a glass of sherry for us.

The only thing we didn't like, was the bed which made a noise if you moved around too much.

Every detail - from the bedroom, the kitchen, bathroom and the cosy outside area. The added part which was really great, the stocked fridge of refreshments.

Anthea was an absolutely amazing host, she will have a solution for all of your problems she know the town very well so she will also recommend the best places and activities. It is only a pity that i was just passing through Darling heading to the west coast and my stay was very short.

This is the most amazing place to stay ! Anthea, the owner is very nice and helpful. She gave me lots of recommandations about places to visit and things to do. And the place itself is just great. It is very nicely furnished and very well equiped with a real sense for small details that makes the difference. There is also a large private patio to relax and I loved the cats on the property.

Nothing not to like, I just wish we could have stayed longer but I fear the secret is getting out thanks to satisfied guests like us!

This is a magical little hide away on the edge of town. Really well put together by a thoughtful host, there is everything you could need and a whole lot more....I travel a lot and don't think I have ever seen more attention to comfy details and guests needs.....I wont tell you everything, just book and go experience for yourself!! The excellent value for money is also worth mentioning.

What a gem in Darling. Lovely well appointed room with a comfy outdoor area to sit and read. The bed was wonderful and cozy and the kitchen had everything you would need to cook a simple meal. I really enjoyed relaxing in this space.

This is a little gem hidden away in the beautiful town of Darling.

What is there not to like! This is a beautiful newly renovated place that caters to your every need. Outside you will find a lovely sitting area to enjoy the beauty of the garden. Inside the room is cozy and offers a comfortable bed, living area and kitchen. A electric fireplace creates a cozy atmosphere and the TV has Netflix on offer to keep you busy when you are done exploring Darling. What made our stay are all the beautiful feline friends that walk around. We love cats and after being gone a week from our babies it was nice to be surrounded by some of them sharing the love. The place looks like the images!
