We recently stayed at this wonderful guesthouse and was blown away by the incredible service and inviting atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, especially as it was just days before our wedding. They made every effort to accommodate us, making our time there special and relaxing. With delightful surprises like the yummy cherry to end our day on a sweet note and the delicious chocolate left on our bed during turndown service, accompanied by a thoughtful note with the next day's forecast. Plus, the view from the guesthouse was absolutely breathtaking, adding to the overall experience. I highly recommend a stay here. The breakfast was delicious, the location was perfect - not too close to the shops, but just far enough to feel relaxed. It truly made for an unforgettable pre-wedding getaway.

It worked for us, but you might want to be closer to town to eat/drink out. There’s no restaurant you can walk to.

Lovely room, great views and tasty breakfast. The team who run it were helpful, with recommendations and booked dinner for us at a local restaurant (10 minutes drive away). There’s a path along the sea front, you can have a nice walk/ run along.

The room could have been bigger/better, but the kindliness of the owners and the fantastic breakfast made up for everything. So it is still a 9!

The property lies perfectly at the seaside near Hermanus. The house is wonderful and splendid - as is the overwhelming breakfast, freshly prepared in the morning. Competing with another place in Cape Town our best breakfast we had traveling South Africa! And made just right for you from owners and staff. The room is not huge but very tidy and nice for sleeping. It had an ocean view but just from the side... well, we just stayed there for 1 night.

They could have some beverages and snacks to offer, even for purchase. Was traveling light so would be nice to have a wine or beer there at the house!

Charming house with some cosy common areas, the room is spacious, nice bathroom, good bed and great location. It even has a nice bistro just a block away. Staff is amazing, special thanks to Desre for her welcome and help.

This guesthouse is perfect for a beach-body who loves a scenic, tranquil and relaxing getaway. There is a trail for walking, jogging and/or running too! The sunset is gorgeous from the balcony and can be enjoyed with the wonderful sound of the waves too. It’s absolutely breathtaking and the staff is super friendly as well. Desré, the owner, goes out of her way to make you feel at home. She ensures that you are constantly kept updated with the loadshedding times, to avoid disappointment as well as the daily weather reports to properly plan your day/s too. The breakfast is wholesome, delicious and the presentation thereof is stunning too. I would definitely recommend anybody and everybody to come here! You won’t regret it.

I can find no fault in anything.

This is the best, most comfortable, most accommodating Guesthouse/B&B we have ever stayed at. The attention to detail from air fresheners in the bathroom through bed turndown chocolates through a departure gift, etc. are delightful. The sumptuous breakfast, excellent coffee and service at tables looking out over the sea and waves were a delight in themselves . Desre and Hester excellent managers. I can’t say enough about how pleasant our stay was.

Very lovely guesthouse with only a few rooms, and lots of love for detail. The staff is super friendly and very attentive. The guesthouse is a 10 mins drive from the “Centre” but its location at the beachfront is beautiful to start the day with a walk along the beach.

Television was small and in a cupboard. No air con Also whilst room lovely thought we would have seaviews from our bed. We had to stand at the foot of the bed to get a sea view from a small window. One of our joys in SA in a number of locations was to wake up and see the sea - not possible in this room. Having said that it is a lovely guest house with exceedingly high standards. The staff are lovely and very helpful

Beautiful guesthouse and the ladies were so welcoming. We were upgraded to a Seaview room with a private terrace. Amazing shower and corner bath. Lovely communal areas...so relaxing sitting on the balcony with a sundowner chatting to fellow travellers. Breakfast was fresh and very tasty. Thank you for a relaxing stay...we only stayed for one night but will be returning for longer.
