when i first walked in my allocated room, there was an odour as if someone had recently occupied the room, i would suggest that the establishment places room fragraces or air purifier, i think that would really give a new visitor that sense of luxury and welcome and enhance the standard of the establishment to the level it deserves....

i loved the location and the area the guesthouse is located in, its ideal for someone who is traveling either for school or business, quite and tranquil space

I made this booking for a friend that lost her mother 2 months ago - just before Xmas, she passed away in a home invasion and I want to have the room really special for her as it was her birthday on top of that, I had to pay an extra fee for her sister to stay on the second night, and I was prepared for to pay for the "special love" She just received an ordinary room, with nothing special and there was no WIFI - apparently it wasn't working at the time and there was no cell signal. I wanted to give her a comfy feeling room with love and the pictures I received was just cold.

Breakfast was nice, just same menu everyday. If there was something wrong or you wanted something that was not in your room and you asked they tried to give it to you. One day a pipe leaked outside so they upgraded me to another room. Breakfast is from 7 -10 but I had to leave early so they open the kitchen and gave me breakfast earlier

The warm welcome from Anastasia was lovely. She was a great host and made every effort to help us when needed. The room was a good size and suited our family.

Unfortunately none of the rooms have any mini or bar fridges and they only serve breakfast. This made catering for myself for lunch or supper (without milk or food spoiling ) quite hard. Otherwise my stay was superb.

Anastasia and Agnes were very friendly and accommodating. I struggled to work in the travelers room and asked to move to the executive room. They arranged it for me asap (I paid in the difference) and working there was a dream. They also ensured that I was served a lovely hot breakfast at 07:00 each morning before so had to leave. I definitely recommend the executive room for anyone going away on business.

The power for the plugs kept tripping . Agnes did put it back on a few times. But we couldn’t watch movies properly.

Agnes was very attentive and sorted all our stuff out. DSTV on the TV was great. Pool was lovely and the breakfast was divine.

Shower head needs de-calcifying and at moment gives a very distorted stream of water, no coffee plunger at breakfast (I had my own coffee, just needed the plunger)

The pool and the pool area was not clean, we could not use it though we had specifically wanted a venue with a pool.

The rooms are big enough with DSTV and working air cons, clean, bathrooms are exceptional with both Shower and big jet Bath tubs with toiletries. Breakfast was okay, and the staff are very friendly.

The view from my room was not so good. I understand that was the room I opted for but the outside could have been tidied a bit more or organised a bit more. That was the only issue I had.

It was clean, comfortable. Staff were very friendly. When I even asked for an office chair, they brought one for me within seconds. Going in and out of the property was smooth. Rooms were cleaned everyday too.

Agnes went out of her way from accommodating us when we arrived, which was late on New Years Eve and always went the extra mile. Herman and Anriette were also excellent hosts, although not onsite, but unfortunately, their employee Anastacia was rude, condescending, and kept speaking down to us. She even went as far as telling me that she is not ironing my clothes for free when I just requested the service and never once even suggested that I expected it for free. She was constantly repeating my name when responding to me, which I found very disrespectful. I stayed at two leafed doors frequently for business before hence returned, but this experience with Anastacia has changed my preference.

The attention to detail that the hosts Herman and Anriette provided even though they were out of town. Agnes is a gem, and the location is perfect. The rooms need to be maintained a bit more.
