I would consider maybe adding a gas braai, with all the load shedding might be nice alternative. Also handy if not enough time to start a fire after a long day at the beach.

Excellent location, property in great condition. Aircon’s work very well, helpers clean exceptionally well considering the sea sand. Even saw a hippo very close to the veranda. Great host!

No lamps were provided during load-shedding The refridgirator wasn't working - our groceries ended up being spoiled. The freezer was just full of ice we could not put in our stuff... Dish cloths were so dirty and old. There were no air-conditioning in some rooms. Two bedrooms are extremely small for adults.

On arrival they told us 2 aircons were not working. we stayed there for 4 nights and the aircons are still not working. It would have been nice if they could bring a fan but nothing was offered. We broke a small plate and had to pay R20 for the plate what I understand when you break something you pay for it but I thought they would offer that as compensation for the aircons.

The fact that we were unable to talk nor sing even during the day.I understand after hours.we were not free at all,others were playing loud music and caretaker blamed us becos we were next to him and realized later that it wasnt us.

We booked from 28.04.2023 to the 01.05.2023. Unit 2 Booking was done under my brother’s name Rogan. On arrival the unit was cleanish. You could see the marble countertops were wiped with a dirty cloth as there was a white film on them. We had no one coming in to clean daily as we were told we need to pay R100. I have never experienced this before where there is no cleaning service. We had a smart tv but no wifi. We had to buy our own toilet paper as there was only 1 for the entire weekend. I had to buy doom for the cockroaches in the kitchen. All the cupboards were full of dishes which meant our food had to stay on the counter tops. My biggest complaint is that the beds in one of the rooms had bedbugs. When communicating this to Megan said it could be sand fleas or the bedbugs were brought to the accommodation. Insinuating I have bed bugs at my home. I am appalled at her response. Megan said the owner of unit 2 replaced the beds and was the only one who slept on them. She did not even know which room we referred to. Which means the unit was not occupied over the easter weekend….. lies She said we left a mess. Bed linen should all be washed after guests leave. We came on holiday and know that there is daily cleaning service which is free. Megan was rude and disrespectful to my husband. My extended family have been coming to the bridge for about 25 years. And my family gave good reviews. Needless to say I will never visit the accommodation again. My son had fevers Sunday night from the 100 bites on his feet. If it was sand fleas we all would have been bitten including the babies we had with us. I am disgusted by the service received and response’s Megan gave to our queries. I will be leaving this review on every site The Bridge is advertised on. I hope the owner knows the person managing his property is nasty

The shower pressure in the family bathroom was low and the tub tap was very ticky to use. There is no internet available which was a bit disappointing for such a listing.

The location of the place is wonderful. Close to everything and very easy to access. The apartment is spacious and it fit our family of five well. It has all the basic amenities you need. The water was amazingly hot. The TV worked well and had the full DSTV bouquet. The outside space, braai area and lawns were very nice.

Everythong about the place was exceptional. Stores nearby everything just here here here, you literally walk to the shops, garage and restuarants. Beach 1km driving distance. The place was lovely, comfortable beds and oh yes the sofas too. Friendly staff and Megan the owner lovely lady. We enjoyed our stay very much
