We were three couples on a three week tour of SA and this was one of the best places we stayed at. Lovely house with loads of room and a wonderful garden with swimming pool.

The air condition in two of the bedrooms could have been a little better but this only impacted us on one night out of the four.

Excellent villa with great facilities and location. Hosts were fantastic and super helpful on both arrival and departure. Would definitely recommend.

Dion was very rude when he phoned me prior to our arrival. Booking was made with the understanding we would pay at the property. I was phoned weeks before and told in no uncertain terms that our booking would be given away if payment wasn’t made in full immediately. Despite my explanation, Dion interrupted me and spoke harshly. I would’ve cancelled if my elderly inlaws had not been joining us.

It would have been helpful if we had had 2 sets of remote and keys. We were 6 adults and not all coming and going at the same time so it was a challenge to ensure no one was locked out at any time.

We enjoyed the location - walking distance to and from the town. The house is brilliantly equipped with everything to make guests comfortable. Comfy beds, back up lights for load shedding times, air conditioning and heater, the sunny verandah with a pretty view of the mountains.

There was no key on the door leading to the garage - which made my daughter a bit uncomfortable

There was nothing! Just one minor point - availability of a hairdryer would have been good.

The property was well equipped and for us the location was perfect as it was an easy walk into the centre of Franschhoek whilst being away from the noise. The hosts were delightful too and we enjoyed the wine!

If I was to nitpick - the unit was not serviced during our stay. We were only adults but if there were kids included I would want help with beds, dishes and straitening up in the morning.

Great location, a good distance from the main street, therefore quiet and a lovely mountain view. Walking distance from anywhere in town and to the tram station. Quality pillows and good water pressure in the shower! Basics consumables catered for in the kitchen and bathroom.
