We were told that we can only check in at 15:00. We were asked what time we would like to check in. We then advised that we will be arriving at 16:00. When we arrived, we were not friendly greeted. The fridge was not switched on, so we could not put our cooldrinks in to get cold for the evening. No ice available in the freezer. Ice tray was there but just empty. Main bedroom shower did not have warm water, but second bedroom shower did have warm water. Owner then brought us some soap bar with his hands and the soap did not have any packaging or wrapping around it. Something I noticed behind the basin in the main bathroom is that the basin came off the wall or they used the basin somewhere else and did not remove the silicone at the back of the basin, Res of the place is not bad. Attention to detail is important. There is a table in front of the righthand side wardrobe, so you cannot use the wardrobe unless you move the table.

Eskom loadshedding. No fan. Can’t sleep to hot. Open windows mosquito plague. No sleeping untill electricity back. Only bed included no breakfasts.

Nice rooms. Very good security. Good TV and Netflix options. Wifi available. Nice outside area to braai and just sit and chat or relax. Have everything if you want to prepare own meal except stove with oven.

The room was absolutely spectacular. Had a bit of rain in the night and it made it even better wit that beautiful roof. Room was small but had absolutely everything you could need and want. So much value for your money. Friendliest host I have ever come across. Will definitely book again.

Bed is quite hard, you could hear the owners moving through the corridors and talking. Water pressure is not great. Bathroom light would occasionally not work. TV did not have signal.

I liked everything about the place. It's heavenly.

51 on church has a tranquil, close to nature vibe about it. We stayed in the garden room which had a beautiful sky view. Our room was immaculate and had all the necessary amenities.The hosts were very friendly and made us feel welcome at all times. I'll definitely stay here again when I'm in Welkom and I recommend it to any traveller be it for business or leisure.

The place had a lingering smoke smell. I think the owners smoke. I changed rooms but it was the same. Except for the smell, the place us just fine. Maybe unsolicited advice to the owner, perhaps he take some of the furniture out. The place is over furnished & looks cluttered.

We couldn't swim for our entire stay because the owner decided to add chemicals during our entire stay, and only told us about it once we've paid. Communication could have been better especially at our arrival. The place was clean, however most of the furniture was dusty

I booked the deluxe room because i wanted the aircon. However, the remote was nowhere to be found and it therefore went unused. All the facilities offered need to be available at all times.

The venue is very well kept, clean and very quiet and peaceful. Just the right environment for me after a really long and busy day.
