Everything! Michelle and her team looked after us so well. The room had everything we needed and the bed was extremely comfortable. We relaxed by the pool after a hectic trip to Zimbabwe and it was the perfect spot to recharge before travelling back home to the UK. We didn't leave until 2pm but Michelle was in no rush to get us out of the room. We will return!

Everything!!!! Such a warm welcome. Michelle and her team had covered all the bases and we couldn't have asked for more. Michelle arranged for a taxi to pick us up from the airport and John was great. Looking forward to staying there again very soon.

We liked everything about this property and our experience there.

The property is a haven of tranquility in a city. Very safe and secure. The bedroom furnishings and both of the two lounges are very luxurious and understated. In the bed room we experienced the best coffee in South Africa compliments of the hosts.

The property and grounds are fabulous and, during our visit, the house was beautifully decorated for Christmas. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were friendly, helpful and discreet. Breakfast - taken on the patio - was delicious with hot food choices freshly prepared to order. Could not fault anything.

I’ve stayed here several times. The facilities, staff and service are all impeccable. The neighborhood is very safe —I went on lovely morning walks. And the location is great— 10 minute walk to Rosebank Mall. It’s my hands-down go to place in Joburg. Michelle is unfailingly helpful. Breakfast is amazing, too.

Amazing and super cozy place! Very hospitable staff, delicious breakfast, rooms are exceptionally well equipped. The only thing I regret about is that we stayed there only for 1 night, I wish I could spend there at least a couple of weeks!

Friendly easy check in. Although I arrived late on a Sunday evening the staff was very friendly and prepared a light meal for me. The room was very spacious and clean. The bed was super comfortable and the linen was crisp and clean. I really appreciated the fresh milk in my bar fridge and the fresh flowers was a nice touch!

The detail and the care of Michelle and her team can be seen accross the guesthouse. The guesthouse makes you feel like at home with alot more luxury. Will defenitely stay here again. The breakfast options are just amazing and the choices are endless.

I loved everything. I felt like a prince.

My goodness this place is INCREDIBLE. It's a 40 room mansion that now has 10 guest bedrooms. I did have the best suite but it was really pretty cheap to be honest, and absolutely enormous. Every single thing was delightful and perfect. All the furnishings, the bar, the lounge, the bathroom (has a spa bath), towels, bed (so cosy, loved it) were outstanding. There were luxury touches everywhere that I had never seen in accomodation before, flowers, a wonderful (small) gym, the pool and garden are ridiculously beautiful. The wifi was great, the staff were so helpful and not intrusive. You get to order whatever you want for breakfast, and I'm sure the dinner would also be wonderful (although I went out to Fishmongers for dinner and that was sublime). The owner was always available and super fun and friendly and accomodating, and just so genuine. She helped me with buying shoes, finding a good barber, booking dinner.
