We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South AfricaUnfortunately the main bedroom wardrobe smelt like toe jam and the bed was so uncomfortable it kept making squeaky sounds n its uneven, just a complete horror of a bed and my back is still sore from it plus the linens smelt of damp... just disgusting.
We liked the setup of the estate itself and waking up to the forest background.

South AfricaThe chair in the lounge was broken & was a safety hazard. The braai stand was rusty. The outside table & chairs had cobwebs & was dusty. There are no mirrors in the house besides the bathroom. The pool was dirty & green. When asked about it, we were told that it would be sorted & wasn't. Specifically booked this place because of the pool as we had kids. Also complained about the lounge chair & maintenance was supposed to come out but didn't. Not enough seating in the lounge for 6 people. Pictures were sent of chair & pool upon arrival to property company. The lawn lights were not working. It was dark.
