This was not a hotel but rather a private property managed by owner (airbnb like) the apartment and furniture we very old, there was no smart TV, TV in room was not working, was unable to use the bath tub, the apartment was not well maintained at all.

Loved the location of the property. The communication with the host was great.

The price of the accommodation was not equivalent to the experience. While the room was comfortable, neat and was cleaned daily, there were some things that weren't ideal, like a broken cupboard door, incomplete cutlery (e.g. only knives and 2 spoons), our room wasn't ready for another hour from our designated check-in time, and our clearance to enter the building was revoked a day before our check-out, which meant that we had to wait for security to be helped into the building each time we needed to come back to our room. Our pillowcases smelled like they weren't dried properly and were still damp, so I ended up buying washing pods to rewash the linen before we could sleep. Wouldn't recommend staying at a place like the Pearls over busy periods. We would have been more comfortable and paid an equivalent price to stay in a nice hotel.

I liked how central the venue was to everything, especially the promenade and lovely restaurants. It was also convenient to have a shopping centre on the first floor of the building.

It’s was a mission to get out. Eventually my fingers got biometric access No hot take water , no one informed us that we responsible for switching it on Tv never worked or wifi . Apparently it was never in property as it’s taken away . Asked for wifi network, password. Got it midnight. No use as the device was not in property. The windows were dirt , 1 sheet was dirt , curtains not properly installed, apparently it’s takes 5 min to make water warm .

Access biometrics finger didn’t work and no lift during load shedding so lots of waiting outside to get access or for load shedding to enter although Farah was good at getting me an access card . Just felt alit of messing around for Access

Firstly, I was relocated to another room and then asked to shift for a second time just to accommodate another customer. I felt very disrespected. Secondly, the second room I was relocated to had very dirty beddings and I did not enjoy my sleep. I thought this was lack of seriousness.

The staff are not helpful very disappointed Will not be booking at The Pearls anymore The lady at level 5 help desk at first she agreed to help and after while she says she cannot help me I needed my luggage to be stored on my day of check out at first she said yes then no cause it's a private unit but why can't they help us even the porters on day of our arrival he refused to help us and wanted to charge us r300 a unit which utterly ridiculous your staff need to learn how to be helpful to guests

I feel the property was a little over priced. The rate was the same if not more than some of the hotel rates in the area. My husband booked and did not read the fine print and thought it was a Hotel because of the rate. We changed units and access was a bit of an issue because fingerprints could not be taken after 5pm on a Saturday.

The apartment is not the most clean. There are coackroaches. Booking.com need to upfront about the cost of the apartment. I was very unhappy about hidden costs.

The apartment has modern feel. Great location. The finger print access has benefit for security. I can definitely visit again. The security guards are really helpful.

The apartment needs a Decor upgrade!! The Bedroom, Lounge and entrance area, filled with dated furniture and miscellaneous items, haphazard & overcrowded. Not pleasing to the eye. This is my first time staying here , it was disappointing . Every time I needed to come and go from the apartment, security had to be contacted to come up and use their card to allow me to exit or enter any floor or part of the building - no biometric card wad given to us to move around freely. This was extremely inconvenient!!

The location was ideal with beautiful ocean views. The apartment situated on the 12th floor, boasted a balcony with a side ocean view and which overlooked the pool and garden. The person/agent I dealt with for this 12th floor apartment, was helpful with directions and info.
