The grass was not cut near our challets During our checkout, we had to stay for more than an hour at the reception, we had booked for 5 challets and they had to check for the dishes and cutlery and that was so annoying

There are no signposts directing one to the Lodge from Modimolle. A few signposts clearly indicating the route would be welcome.

The way we got greeted when we arrived at the lodge. When we phoned to ask for a pindrop the staff was very unpleasant, sarcastic and annoyed.

The view of the sun setting over the dam and rising behind the mountains. The fresh air and all the animals walking around you freely minding their own business.

The road is not so good especially for rainy days and if you using a small car. The rooms are perfectly equipped just not clean, especially the linen.

The place is amazing and in a perfect area, very quite and peaceful. Not forgetting Chantelle (Receptionist/ Assistant) being the most funniest person on earth, she's nice and friendly.

Putt putt needs upgrade bur we all know what covid 19 did to businesses. Overall the rest is in great Nick.

It was great. Facilities clean, staff friendly and just a great break from reality. Wildlife and natural beauty was really great.

Bedding, for a lodge I always prefer white bedding. it looks more hygienic. The water in the pools looked green, I wasn’t sure if the water is safe for a swim or not.

It offers a bush experience, great for a weekend away.

Didn't like the idea of driving every time to the dam. And only small fishers.

Chalet was comfortable. But there is no network and signal at the Chalet.

The 🏠 are not well taken care of. The roofs are leaking a lot. Sorroudings very bushy not cut. No proper play ground as advertised Bedding sets not clean. A proper maintainance would make a best lodge.🙏

Dishonesty about the place. There is no wifi. The road to the place is horrible. There were no plugs for fans on the top loft bedroom. The swimming pools were green and smelled like pond water. The pad pad course were not maintained at all. The chess set was also not maintained at all. There was absolutely nothing for the kids to do due to the no maintenence of the attractions. The shower head was broken in the bathroom. Their operation is completely unprofessional. We slept there for one night out of the 4 or 5 nights. I went to the reception to ask if i can cancel my booking as i am unhappy and would like to get a refund on my stay. The owner first fought with me and stated she will not refund any money and that I am the first person to ever complain about the place. I told her why I was unhappy and she could not care less as she needs the money. She stated later that she can refund me R8000 back, nkt R6000 as that was part of the verbal agreement. Should have done that in writing as it shows you how dishonest this propery owner is. I will leave a revier on Google as well about this and send all my pics that I have about this place which is nothing like their pictures that were sent in 2017. Very sad that customers have to go through this process, it shows that there is still some unprofessional resorts out there. Will never go back there again and will warn everyone not to go there.
