Nothing , I cannot say enough kind words about this hotel .

Everything … everyone at this hotel is guest friendly …easy check in and easy check out . Large comfortable room , awesome beds. Close to the Cruise Terminal . Dining was very nice and the food was very good . Breakfast was also very good with lots of varieties . The coffee was very good for automation ! We were going on an excursion on check out and the hotel kindly stored our luggage until we returned . I highly recommend this hotel !

Only outside swimming pool. Not easy access from front of the hotel to Waterfront area (temporary / permanent fence? April 2024)

Spacious and clean rooms. Varied breakfast with a large selection of fresh fruits. Tasty dishes from the menu. Very friendly and helpful service, from the baggage handler to the general manager.

Very well appointed, the decor is simple and classy. Lack very clean and conveniently located not far from Waterfront and freeway. Sisanda (front desk), Yoli (assisted with luggage) The night manager (Loyolo- I think) and Chayita (waitress) we simply amazing! The service is exceptional. Definitely will stay here again.

One day during our stay there was no running water in the entire hotel. This came as a shock and inconvenience. No effort was made to compensate guests for the terrible inconvenience.

Breakfast was nearly the same each day, the day we ordered from the kitchen, we had to wait for our orders for more than +-30 minutes.

The room was always clean and comfortable during our stay. Staff members always assisted whenever we needed assistance, and we enjoyed our stay.

It would have been nice to have a shuttle that ran to the water front when the canal taxi was not.

Nothing really! The rooms’ soundproofing could be a little better, but other than that there really was nothing to complain about.

Everything! The hotel is very clean and the restaurant/bar are excellent. The breakfast is varied and enjoyable, and the buffet never feels to busy. The staff at this hotel are absolutely fantastic; thank you very much to Denver for his help with my TV and David at reception for the assistance with my room. The staff here are truly excellent! I’d highly recommend staying at this hotel if you’re in Cape Town. The shuttle bus to the waterfront is very useful as well.

The only negative thing is the location because although the hotel is technically on the V&A Waterfront, it is not really safe to walk there from the hotel due to the road layout so it’s really a short (10-15 minute) Uber ride away. On the plus side, Uber fares are very cheap.

The rooms are large, very comfortable and clean as are the public areas. Breakfast was excellent with a great choice of food and the staff were lovely, helpful and efficient. Nothing seemed to be any trouble. Reception staff were also professional and friendly as were all of the front of house staff. The sun deck is very clean and comfortable too.

Location not as expected - could not walk out in the evening and had to rely on a shuttle bus. Pool badly located - no sun in the afternoon.

On the map, it looks close to V+A, but it's not walking distance due to road layout. However, there is a shuttle bus service or a beautiful canal boat trip to the V+A
