Not a big fan of pets, I felt they could be kept at bay during certain times. The view to the mountain through the glass door is phenomenal, but it leaves you with little privacy as other guests can have access to your veranda. The fridge needs replacement.

We were the only guest at the facility and our booking was upgraded free of charge. They have nice view of the mountains, the place is so serene and tranquil. The bar experience was really awesome. Breakfast was great. the setting was just beautiful one to wake up to.

The whole team was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The location and views are beautiful. The evening meals - cooked by Hilda - were absolutely delicious and generous portions. The breakfasts - cooked by Ntombi were great. Rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Norma was a mine of information about the local area.

The view, the food, our room upgrade, we Loved all of it... the honeymoon was great and special. Most definitely coming back again here, it might just be our anniversary stay every year because there is so much to do around the retreat.

No screens on windows.

Very clean and comfortable accommodations with amazing food and great location close to climbing and hiking. The only downside was a lack of screens on the windows but the fans helped keep any mozzies at bay. Host family was incredibly nice and had so much excellent local info to share.

I have nothing to complain about if I am being honest.

This was the best stay ever, we arrived at 6pm 20 October. Norma and her team are awesome, from the ladies who prepared our breakfast to the guys outside, everyone is so welcoming. We were upgrade to a suite (Zebra room), and it was the best, the baths, shower the cupboards,everything was clean. We were given a variety of cereals, Fruits and proper breakfast for the two days we spent there. We are difinetly taking our kids there very soon. I am a dog owner myself but I was a little intimidated of how big their dogs are, buy hey what friendly, clean and obeying guard dogs. We really enjoyed the quietness of their place.

This place is absolutely gorgeous with such an incredible chef and host. We rested well after the best dinner. Norma went above and beyond to accommodate our requirements and we cannot thank her enough!

Quite and peaceful place with a lovely view. The personell was really kind and forthcoming. The house is charmy and especially the bar interior makes you wanna discover lots of its tiny fun items. Food was good! The well behaving Richback Doggos were cuddly yet not actively needy.
