Would have liked more choices for non meat eaters, as much as the host went out of their way to accomodate us, salad and pasta with mushrom kebabas is hardly genuine delicous meal.

Host was eger to accomodate us, going out of their way to make us confortable and to enjoy our stay.

The location is stunning. The hot tub was fun and the whole experience was great. Excellent host, George, so accommodating and friendly and welcoming. Restaurant Mila, is amazing. Lovely food, had breakfast and a lunch there and really enjoyed both. Wine tasting was fun and included in the cost of the booking.

Absolute ontspanning! Heerlike lugreëling in die tent, spierwit linne en al die basiese benodighede. Die ‘hot tub’ was idillies. Dankbaar vir hout wat mens kan gebruik en later betaal.

That the cleaning fee was charged in the booking fee despite it says only if the cottage is left in terrible state that cleaning fee will be charged.

Sensitive for noise with tents located closely next to eachother. Not a problem if you are lucky with the neighbours:)

Great open gras field with great Mountain View. Perfect location for hiking, mtb ((e-) mtb bike can be rented on site) and whine tasting. Tent is very cosy and has everting needed. Hot tob is fun. Prepare for cold hot tub though as it takes at least 5 hours to warm up and requires at least a full bag of wood (which we think is pretty high impact for a plunge). Very friendly receipt by George and his colleagues

Carefull if it is windy or rainy, you ll get a lot of noise in the tent, especially at night!

The location is an absolute delight. Lazing in the hot-tub with the afternoon sun lighting up the mountains was picture postcard perfect. And then, after sunset, to watch the star light up the sky and track satellites was even more amazing. Christelle and her team were amazing - they were attentive, friendly and efficient

Not much everything was perfect, wish we could have stayed longer. The only thing that we didn't like is the dishes that wasn't cleaned properly but, that is not an issue for us. We enjoyed it very much

The location is perfect and it's very peaceful and quiet. It's almost like living on a farm, in the morning you can hear the tractors driving around on the farm. At night time the sky is so beautiful you can see all the stars, perfect for astrophotography. Inside the tent there is a fireplace for the cold evening's. The hot tub was the best part, we didn't want to get out of it!!! We Loved it

We would change nothing. We loved everything about our accommodation and the area.

We did not choose the breakfast option. The location was nice and private. We loved the peaceful, clean and beautiful views from the tent.

There was no mop and 1st night our shower was not hot enough coz of the gas bottle that was running out. So they could have checked before we came

We checked in on a Sunday and checked out on a Tuesday. I am aware that Doolhof is a working farm, but the farm staff spent a lot of time right behind our tent. Talking very loud and chilling there next to the vineyards from 07:30 in the morning. The tractors drove up and down right next our tent the whole day with staff giving each other lifts and talking very loud with each other. It did not create a quite breakaway where we could sleep late or take afternoon naps. I assume weekends are more quiet, but the if guests pay to stay during the week, the staff need to be more aware of where they sit and chat and hang out during the day. It was for a big part of the day that they spent time right next to our tent. The staff were all very friendly and pleasant, but the noise levels not what is expected on a peaceful couple breakaway. The tractors rode up and down the little pathway behind our tent and seem like it gets used as transport vehicles , which is very noisy.

The tent had everything we needed and the hot tub was lovely. Beautiful surroundings and views from the deck.
