Nice and clean tents, friendly staff. The lady in Reception definitely needs an Aircon in that office. Overall very enjoyable.

A few other campers were very loud in the morning.

We visited in Feb which was very hot so the aircon and hot tub were great for cooling off. The tent is spacious, clean and very well appointed. We had a very heavy storm and there was no leaking.

Nothing really except that the place is a bit of a drive when you are coming from Joburg side.

We really enjoyed our stay here .This place is so tranquil and peaceful .The place is clean , you can hear the animals from neighboring reserves at night which is really lovely . Lastly , really enjoyed the hot tub as it gets get quite warm as well as the roaming animals when you drive around the farm .

Some of our food went off as the bar fridge in the tent was not that cold. We ended up having to improvise and used our cooler box to keep the rest of our food from spoiling.

We have been to the Africamps in Hazyview and loved it so much that we decided to explore a few others. Needless to say that this one is exceptional. We loved the wood-fired hot tub and were able to get it to a relatively warm temperature. We were also quite pleased about the distance between the tents and the way in which this allowed for privacy.

Add dish washing liquid and dishwashing cloths

The Camp was beautiful. I would just improve on the cleaning things, we didn't have a dish washing liquid as well as the dishwashing clothes. Since its a self catering these should be included I feel because we cook for ourselves and stuff. If you are planning a longer stay please include you own things, but otherwise I plan to visit other locations of the Africamps locations

Fridge is a bar fridge. Limited space and the freezer is quite tinny. If intending to stay longer or in a group the fridge becames an issue and food will go off. Also ice is quite expensive if purchasing it from the reception!

Comfortable, had all the essentials to make a clamping experience great. The shower is good as well, water is always super hot. Beds are spacious and comfortable. The campsite is well located for exploring local attractions such as the Kruger National Park.

There are many unnecessary hidden "costs". For example, although the camp has a hot tub, you are required to purchase wood to use it. You are not given any complimentary wood, even for your first day of arrival. You can purchase wood from the resort (at a premium). You are only provided with a very small amount of substandard dish-washing soap and toilet paper. This will generally last about 2 - 3 days (depending on the amount of guests). If you are staying longer than this, you will be required to purchase additional dishwashing soap and toilet paper. No bathroom soap or shower gel is provided. You may not use shower towels for the hot-tub. We were only told about this on the day of our arrival. We had to purchase beach towels just to use the hot tub, and because we were flying back to the UK, we had no use (or space) for them afterwards, and had to give them away. There is a large lake in the reserve which allows "catch and release" fishing, however, you are required to pay a fee to fish each day (even though you have to release all catches). These additional costs were highly frustrating and completely unnecessary. The "glamping" concept is lost by these unnecessary cost-saving measures.

The property and the resort itself is beautiful and well-positioned. We loved the wildlife and the proximity to the Kruger Park and surrounding private reserves. The air conditioning is a life-saver in the heat of summer.

The outside jacuzzi takes up to 3 hours to warm up. Would've appreciated a manuel or additional service to improve the experience. The amount of toilet paper provided were not sufficient for our stay. We had to use our own in the end.

The unit was nice and clean and had a beautiful view overlooking the dam. Hosts were friendly.

We understand loadshedding affects everyone in SA however the heat this area experiences it’s stifling hot without air conditioning! However loadshedding isn’t something this establishment can control so as locals we understand however a generator would go a long way for guest comfort! (But we also know those are not cheap either so we get it!) Cell phone / internet signal is spotty but that is understandable with loadshedding and their location (was also good to forced to disconnect for a few days though!)

The experience is great and the location in relation to Orpen Gate is convenient. The tent has everything you need for self catering as well. Bed and pillows are amazing! Will come again for a third visit! Check in was simple, easy and well organized! The gentleman who came to help with aircon was friendly and his little doggie Sockies was the highlight of our stay! Shower had warm water, good pressure! The tent was clean and welcoming! Braai was great! We wished we had a better view of the beautiful dam in-front of the Tent 2 but also the trees surrounding us don’t deserve to be destroyed for our view so it was a want not necessarily a need! We really enjoyed our second stay and the concept of the establishment is refreshing and unique!
