The noise from other guests. Noise of brushcutting.

The location, the pool, the hot tubs.

The couch in the Tent is not quite comfortable. The tent (keyless) locking mechanism is secure, however, quite laborious (not to mention when you have had a few drinks :) ). The biltong was very dry and almost tasteless (maybe I'm picky). The outside tub water was dirty. The public infinity pool did not look clean.

The View of the surrounding nature, Sunrise was the best. The silence and the natural noise of the insects especially at night. The morning Game Drive with Sipho was breathtaking. Sipho knows all Animals and I was fascinated when he named about 20 different types of birds we came across. Sipho went all the way out to find those hiding animals :). I liked the outside and inside bar fridges. The following sentence almost made it to the section "What didn't I like?" but I thought that won't be fair. Food is a problem. Prepare yourselves food as advised by Africamps. Anyway, this is expected in order to fully experience a "camping" nature. You can't expect an urban lifestyle in a remote CAMP. Rather try a LODGE :).

The pictures in the website make it look like you are a lot closer to the dam then you actually are. You aren't allowed to drive around the reserve besides to the nearby fishing lodge. Not much to do at the resort besides activities that are all an additional charge.

    The unit was fantastic.

the only thing is we where there in december and the tent inside was extremley hot. I would suggest extra fans as the aircon does not cool down the tent

it was a great exprience - we did the lake boat cruise and it was realy nie.

When it is hot (like it was the one night) the air conditioning is woefully inadequate. The monkeys are a problem and we did not appreciate being accused of lying about closing the tents in the elaborate way necessary to keep them out. The 'monkey' thefts were also surprisingly selective with only unopened good being taken away and open containers and fruit being left behind. Is the monkeys being framed...?

The location within the Park is excellent. Unfortunately you are not allowed to drive on your own in the park (although you are allowed to visit the other lodges?). Being inside the Park means that you do not need to worry about the gates closing when you are on the dam.

We had cockroaches in our tent. They are the invasive ones and the place should be fumigated.

Enjoyed our stay overall but the plumbing and geyser should be seen to and need more activities.

Continuous problems with toilet not flushing and no hot water when wanting to shower. Staff did try fix geyser but kept giving problems. Felt for the price we paid the unit could have been serviced. Would really have liked to go on the cruise on Jozini but the weather was lousy, no fault of the establishment though. No game for game drives.

The unit was well presented, clean, enjoyed the hot tub. The staff were really friendly. Breakfast and braai packs were expensive but really nice.

As they are on the private reserve with restrictions, you may no leave the camp site without a guide . On top of that the excursions and activities are expensive . (Their activities cost more that the other place we stayed at which was a 4 star resort). It's okay for a day or so but for a three day stay you feel trapped.

Tented accommodation is great, and loved the hot tub.

The lady managing the property really wasnt welcoming at all. She really singled my friends and I out. The way she spoke to us was absolutely terrible and clearly very different to how she spoke to and treated other guests.

The place was great, great location, great facilities and the game drive was also really amazing. The tents were up to standard and met expectations.

Wifi connection was really bad, not great when you have kids Tons of ants all over the counters in kitchen Could really do with a freezer as it is self catering Shower was a bit crazy. Water went hot and cold randomly and my children were really upset over it

The views the deck the Braai area was absolutely perfect. The game drive and river cruise was great. We had Sipho for both and he was the absolute best. The beds were comfortable and great and the bathroom was huge spacious and super clean.
