An oasis. Beautiful lush garden with stylish and relaxed central eating area and pool. Very relaxing and very well looked after. Nice runs in the surrounding vineyards. Great massage and facials at the Spa.

The property is beautiful and the atmosphere is serene. All the staff was super helpful and friendly and made me feel very welcome. Great for business travel. The room was outstanding!

The fish basket we ordered was not up in par with the room and facilities. We expected better.

Absolute gem. Very nice location, not far Augrabies and Uppington. In easy distance of Augrabies National Park for a day visit. Very nice staff.

Very loud petrol generator during load-shedding is located right outside Ruby Cabernet and Chardonnay suits. This was quite disruptive and did ruin the peace and quite - particularly at night. Although it turns off at 10pm, it turns back on again at 6am which may not be great for late sleepers. This wouldn’t really be an issue when load shedding is in the lower stages, but wasn’t great for a period where there was 10+ hours of load-shedding.

The setting is beautiful, right next to the orange river with lots of beautiful big old trees keeping you shaded. We had great meals at the restaurant and were well looked after by our server, who was absolutely lovely. The room (Ruby Cabernet) was exceptionally comfortable and we loved sitting by the warm fire at night with a glass of complementary sherry. A good base to explore surrounding areas, such as Augrabies Falls and nearby wine farms.

All of it, the tranquility was exceptional, like an oasis. Loved tge spacious room, tge dining facilities, just all round best stay we had, and we travelled extensively. The small detail like a welcome sherry in the room just topped it

We found that the communication regarding booking and ordering our evening meal was quite vague. We were unsure about the restaurant's evening routine and felt that the procedure could have been explained in greater detail and that the restaurant staff could have been more helpful and friendlier. However, we did enjoy a delicious meal once we had overcome a few obstacles.

Being surrounded by the wonderful gardens, birdlife and water features made it feel like a peaceful oasis! We stayed in a very large beautifully decorated and furnished room. The refreshing swimming pool was so welcome after a long, hot drive. It was a great place to relax and unwind, cocooned from the busyness of the outside world.

That the dogs liked us so much that they ended up sleeping in front of our door when the owners were away. One of the dogs didn't sleep and 'talked' with the neighbours all night. So I didn't sleep either! 😅

Everything. Best room I have ever had in a hotel, and I have had MANY. Huge, personal, quirky and stylish at the same time. The food was nice, the people great, good value for money.
