I liked the design and furnisher of the rooms which is elegant , solid, dignified and well placed in the room. The star designer ceiling is calming and brings a sense of deep thoughts. Experiencing the outside shower is quite liberating...like it! The room shower is spacious and makes shower time a joy 😀. The grounds are clean and beautiful. Atmosphere around is serene and it is always a joy to be outside and inside the establishment....the staff is well trained and you can feel the extra UBUNTU quality they add to their service....from the front desk to the house and groundkeepers. This place is a real pride of Eastern Cape Accomodation Establishments. One can never get tired of booking here. Salute Happy Couple

The person taking us to our room could have shown us how to re-boot the tv when the load shedding occurred. Also she could have shown us the log-on to the wi-fi, as it was not as indicated on the note. The step up to the front door was not easy for us elderly folk. We were advised to ask next time we stay( and we will stay again! ), for a room nearer the main building, with a smaller step up.

I didnt like the chips at dinner

The location was perfect for our visit to Addo Elephant Park. The accommodation was wonderful. I was really impressed with the outside shower, the size of the bathroom and inside shower. The beds were comfortable and the linen was superb. The chalets were very well thought out and the design was great.

All was fine with the accomodation, however unfortunately service, starting from check-in was terrible and slow in restaurant both for dinner and breakfast. Waited both times 2 hours for food to arrive which is really annoying, especially if one is to visit the Addo Elephant park.

The road that leads to the place from Port Elizabeth town was not in a good condition though, you need to drive slowly on it. We did not like the fact that the lady who was serving us kept on addressing us in Xhosa when we addressed her in English and not our home language(Tswana). We didn't understand the language but it was not nice that she assumed we would understand her well. Her approach was not pleasing

Breakfast was nice, the place is beautiful and the landscape is quite nice. The outside shower was everything, their rooms are nicely located and they are spacious.

1, Walls had damp coming through. Not pleasant to see, and a damp smell. (See photos) 2, (Persoanl choice ) Not a lover of the shower room being open plan I prefer privacy while showering.

Lovely place to stay. Staff friendly and a great location. Safe and comfy, modern and sleek. Bed was super compatible. Loved the fact it had carpet around the bed so your feed were off the cold tiles. (We were there in winter) Fantastic breakfast that's a five star. Very good wifi and Internet speed.

If I had to complain about something it would have been that I needed a firmer pillow, but that was all, everything else was lovely and catered to your needs.

Lovely venue, food great and good value for money. Room was lovely, bathroom is huge and very clean. Breakfast was just enough and coffee was great.

Shower button did not work. Would not change from shower spray to shower head. But reported it and it was no problem.

There was not much to not like. However the small bin in the room could be larger.

Loved the spacious luxury room. Comfortable leather sofa and large comfortable bed. The room had a good TV and excellent WIFI. Great bathroom.
