Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

It's a lovely place, close to everything yet with a farm feel. The chickens and geese were a nice surprise that we all enjoyed, and they were so well behaved. The chocolates on the pillows and the little welcome messages in the rooms was a nice touch, and attention to detail is excellent. Jenni was very welcoming and overall we had a superb experience. Definately recommend Aloe Croft if you need somewhere to stay while in Hilton, Howick or even Pietermaritzburg or just for a relaxing getaway in the country.

South AfricaNot really anything we can complain about. So not really anything, a nice place for an overnight stay on the way to Durban from Gauteng. Great experience would like to have more time to spend there.
The friendly hostess made us feel very welcome. Very nice setting in a secure estate with a well-kept garden, Own entrance was a bonus, Under covered parking near the cottage. All in all a place to recommend.
