You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South AfricaEverything we didn't like in No.409 apartment where we stayed overnight It was well bellow South African hospitality Industry. No toiletries, When we booked there was one price and then extra R300 popped up as some extra fee, like sanitation. There was some bad smell. Couches appear to be filthy. Check in and Check out times are messed up. New guests were sent to disturb us as early as 08:30h despite having extra few hours before we had to check out. Very unprofessional. We tried to phone owners in order clear up the confusion, what's going on with new guests why are they abruptly knocking on our door wanting to take the occupation of the very same apartment. There was no answer. At 10:05AM, one David, phoned us to find out when will we check out. Officially the check out time, as prescribed, was from 08:00 - 11:00 AM. If we could give them stars we would give this place minus five.

South AfricaThe bathtub was horible. The enamel on the bathtub was coming off and the bathtub was stained. The toilet was too low, and dirty, had to disinfect the toilet. The main bedroom bed has bedbugs. Lighting was poor. Bathtub cold water tap did not work. All the windows were dirty inside and outside.
The sea view was wonderfull after cleaning the windows. Close to the beach.

South AfricaEverything, the owner was on voicemail we phoned him, after an hour he responded telling us aunty is nowhere to be found with the keys, he refunded us we had to drive all around searching for another place to sleep, it was horrible, it was my worst experience since I started booking with Boooking.com.

South AfricaFeel free to contact the care taker Ampie he finally assisted us in getting a place to stay for the weekend. We had to pay extra cause of this .Booking dot com can't advertise something which isn't available
Nothing as I paid for something and did not even get a place to stay as the place wasn't ready, busy renovating it and then had to do so many calls to get through and waited for long for the owner, and told the owner i want my money back then after 3 attempts received it, it's really bad we stood at reception for more than an hour waiting to be assisted. Please don't advertise property if there is nothing. Wasted money to drive around to another place which wasn't what we wanted as well we wanted beachfront walking distance. We ended up booking our own property cause this thru booking dot com was ridiculous with people scamming wasted airtime and diesel to look for alternatives. Please take people off these sides like this this isn't the first time this happen contact the caretaker Ampie he will gladly share all information with you.

Damp smell in the rooms 7. unavailable caretaker 8. no one to pick up keys when we indicated that we needed to check out early 9. shower fastened with rope and cable ties 10. moldy carpets and windows 11. no dishwashing cloth 12 dirty sleeper couch 13. NO GATE TAG, which meant we had to rely on their tenants for access into and out of the yard. 14. When we needed to leave the complex we were told that the caretaker says he is not available when we requested a battery for the remote, which meant we couldn’t leave the complex. 15. All in all, it was a VERY bad experience AND STAY!!!!

South Africa1] No Cupboards in main Bedroom. [2] Other bedroom cupboard door was falling off when upon opening. [3] Toilet seat was loose. [4] Kitchen cupboards were not accessible due to building ruble. [5] Plates, glasses were not sufficient. No tea spoons at all. [6] Cleaning payment was included in amount paid but still have to pay R350-00 extra. If Afsaal Flats decided to take over another companies customers who has made bookings through Booking.com. Afsaal should them communicate direct with customer . We had to sit in the car form 13h-00 until 15h00 because the times to enter differs from the one we have requested for. I will not recommend Afsaal Flats to my friends and family. The flat for our accommodation where very BAD. The staff not vey helpful and could not answer simple questions such as were to drop off the keys..

The seaview was stunning. There is nothing like falling asleep to the sound of the waves. The beach is right at your door
