Simple folding luggage racks to place suitcases on will make a huge difference if one is not doing a long stay. A small container of milk in the fridge will be great for guests arriving before having done shopping.

It was incredible! Best views. I prefer to stay here over Franschhoek as the views are nicer and it's more in the mountains. I can't say enough about the place. Give the piano in the common area a try, it's lovely. Will be back for sure

They advertise a restaurant that is currently not available since the chef when back overseas, so had to go find breakfast somewhere else. Not an issue, since i planned to do so anyway, but might be a problem for some not ready for it.

It is a absolute gorgeous place with the most beautiful view over Paarl from the foot of the mountains above Du Toitskloof pass. Not self catering, but I was given a mobile braai when I asked with no issues. Very friendly people with a lot of overseas guests making the experience interesting. Swimming pool in a beautiful spot with suntan chairs and a balcony for a nightcap at the room.

The view is breathtaking. I am here the second time and just love it. The modern look and feel of Talsicht cottage 1 is enchanting. The outside shower is fantatic. Looking forward to the next stay. Helga is a very caring host.

I had 2 single beds which made a queen bed but it kept moving apart but it was overall a comfy bed.

I liked that the rooms where clean and such a great location. A bottle of water was also provided which was amazing because it was super hot.

The room could be upgraded a bit - the decor is quite dated and there were nails sticking out of the balcony decking, which could be risky.

Great location with views of the Paarl mountains, clean and comfortable room. The pool was lovely and refreshing given the hot weather. Helga was a very welcoming host.

That the two days had to come to an end

From Arriving at the Establishment Helga has been awesome. Nothing was too much to ask and always pleasant and friendly. The Tranquility of the space is mind blowing... We wil definitely return. 8h and they are completely LGBTIQA + friendly... The Cleaning staff was just as attentive and is readily available should you need them... 10 out of ten to them... Our wedding weekend away couldn't have been any better.

The wifi was a bit intermittent but not too bad. There was no full DSTV. A lot of the amazing view is covered or blocked by trees that can be trimmed to give that breathtaking stay. But in general, it is a great stay and the host is very friendly.

The poolside unit was a 2 bedroom unit that felt like a house. Loved the space. It gives a very chic feeling where antique meets modern. We loved the fact that each room had an aircon and the view was just amazing. Great artwork that just adds the final touch of elegance. Great value for your money.
