Wahou. That's what comes to my mind when remembering this place. Apogee is really a 5 stars experience, everything is perfect, beautiful, extremely well decorated, comfortable, and everyone does its best to make you feel special in this place. A special thought for Kenny, who really made a difference to create a warm and unique experience for our stay, and to Floyd who speaks French and with whom we had great conversations!

I was very disappointed that they would not take cash, and if they did they penalised us 5%. With all the load shedding often speed-points do not work so I drew money to make sure I had cash to pay then I was charged an extra 5% for this.😫 This was not spelled out on check in. Also keep in mind there is a speed point charge for the facility so charging for the cash is just not fair and it should be stated on arrival.

The location is more secluded and more upscale area with amazing vistas of the city. Our stay there was absolutely wonderful. The bed, room and food were great and the best thing was the wonderful staff there. They were very attentive and kind. Will highly recommend and will be back again.

We loved the location of this hotel. All our appointments were between Brooklyn and Menlyn area and this hotel was pretty central. Access to areas mainly avoids the highways which was nice and time sensible. The restaurant, interior, view and food quality is superb! We loved every single meal! The interior décor of this hotel is a visual delight by itself. Such a lovely romantic place!

I found the place to be very noisy and disruptive, both from other guests and from the staff. My rooms (plural because I had to request a room change after the first night, which was ineffective as the noise "followed" me) were located near communal areas, work/staff areas and general entrances and facilities, which resulted in constant noise throughout the day and night. I was awakened by staff talking loudly to each other each morning from around 7am, and subjected to ongoing disturbances as they went about their duties, shouting at each other when communicating... even across corridors. This does not reflect the posture of tranquility, luxury and sophistication that one assumes from an establishment like Apogee. No yoga was available as stated on the site. Certain information that is on the site is no longer applicable. No Netflix or other streaming platforms. The applications are available, but you have to use your own account logins. The sauna is not "in the room" as described. You may have access to a shared sauna based on the room that you book. Certain facilities did not live up to expectations, such as the pantry. It is made to sound more interesting than it really is.

The butlers were exceptional. They attended to every request with the best attitude and made the experience special. The rooms are luxurious and very beautifully decorated. Spacious yet cosy.

Only thing that was a problem was when I was trying to find a butler to provide my room card, it took a bit of time for someone to come and assist. We were then also disturbed in the middle of the night with a call to the room.

I loved the space and amenities the room provided. The views were incredible and the staff were friendly.

We got there around 5-6pm and the waiters didn’t serve us until we intervened since we were told that we have to wait for these other waiters who work at night to come serve us since they were knocking odd but that didn’t seem to be true since we waiting for those other waiters for more than an hour until we went to the waiters working at that time and then that’s when they decided to serve us.

If they could could they please avail a room that has a bath when a couple has a baby because it becomes a challenge to bath the lil one in the shower!
