Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

GermanyWe stayed in a very beautiful, clean and spacious cottage with the most amazing views on the beach. We had a great terrace for breakfast and dinner and every room had big windows with fantastic views on the beautiful beach. One evening we had dinner at Enrico's, which is a short two minute walk from the cottage. You should go early, because they don't take reservations and there is always a line. The food was fantastic and I would absolutely recommend going there.

This is your private beach experience. The property is basically not at but almost on the beach (within the Dunes). The wonderful and huge beach more or less 'belongs' to you and your neighbors - we felt very secluded. Not only having our own beach house but our own beach. The beach house is well equipped and mostly in shape (well... the showers need some repairs). Our children loved to play all around the house and the beach everywhere in complete safety, not caring about any security issues you have in many places in South Africa. The absolute highlight is Ristorante Enrico just 300m away at the end of the beach strip. The food is superb (probably the best we had in South Africa, even competing some winery foods!), the service awesome, the location perfect. We had lunch & dinner each day with Enrico and would even have breakfast there if they served. Will always remember this magical days at Keurboomstrand and recommend it strongly!
