I have been to Cape Town and Camps Bay a few times before and finally having found The Atholl House - This property is an absolute Gem and flawless. Tranquillity pure, spacious rooms, impeccable design through and through. outstanding views, high quality and rich in choice Breakfast and amenities, excellent service and professional, friendly and caring staff. I had the pleasure to meet the owner and I can not say enough great things about Ani and her team. Hospitality excellence! This place is truly run with passion, attention to detail and the focus on welcoming and comforting every guest to feel home while on vacation. I can’t wait to book my next Cape Town trip and stay at the Atholl House again.

Not a dislike particularly but it is a little way from the centre of Camps Bay, about 18/20 mins walk downhill. The view made up for that though! Quite easy to get a taxi (Uber) back uphill in the evening for a small charge.

Wonderful location with amazing views of the mountains and overlooking the sea. Very warm welcome. Beautifully furnished, spacious room and bathroom. We had a large terrace with loungers, table and chairs where breakfast could be taken, amazing pool area with honesty bar. Delicious breakfast. Flowers in our room, too!

Absolutely nothing, I just didn't like leaving to go home!!!

Not sure where to start! We have been very lucky to stay all over the world in all sorts of hotels and boutique hotels. Atholl House has eclipsed them all. The property itself is beyond stunning, with a fine attention to detail to everything. It is spotless, the furniture is gorgeous, the bed super comfortable and the room is fantastic, along with the bathroom. Quality shower gels and shampoos etc and they do not give you those tiny ones either. Everything topped up daily. As for the massive balcony that has wide views spanning the Ocean, Lions Head, Camps Bay and to the left the 12 Apostles, it really is breathtaking. The very modern property is very secure and extremely peaceful and relaxing, having just 3 rooms. There is a beautiful pool too with quality, comfortable furniture which is a must have in the African heat! The breakfast laid on daily is really varied and wonderful, ranging from cold meats and cheeses and fruits, yogurts, granola etc etc and cooked breakfast if you prefer. The stars at night are like nothing you have ever seen, especially if you are from the UK. Incredible! The staff are wonderful and a special mention goes to the lady who runs it, Annie. The most amazing host, such a warm hearted lovely lady who you can tell really loves her job. She is a people person and is always there to help with anything you require. Annie by accident put me in touch with somebody who has literally changed the trajectory of our lives and for that I am truly grateful on a level you cannot possibly comprehend. If you want to have an amazing time, that is quiet and super chilled, you must come here. We have stayed in 5 different places in Camps Bay and found this to be the best for what we enjoy, which is peace, stunning views and the best of the best in terms of management ! Cannot wait to go back and will not stay anywhere else when we return to Camps Bay, You would be mad not to try it, I guarantee it, you won't be disappointed.

We had the most AMAZING stay at the Atholl house! It was definitely the highlight of our trip. The house, layout and decor is gorgeous, the views are unreal, the location is perfect in central camps bay, the breakfast is delicious and the staff was extremely warm and welcoming. We didn’t have a booking for dinner and everywhere was full. They went above and beyond to find us a reservation at an amazing restaurant they suggested which turned out to be the best mean of our trip. A huge thank you for a perfect stay

There was nothing to dislike. Ani and team are excellent hosts who ran Atholl House with care and consideration.

Breakfast was freshly cooked plus an assortment of fresh fruit, nuts and ginger drink. The location has the most amazing view of Camps Bay and Table Mountain with beautiful sunsets. A short walk downhill to town centre and the hustle and bustle of the town.

We stayed at Atholl House for three nights after our grand trip in South Africa. Atholl House makes sure you feel right at home. Andrea and Tine are really kind, warm and welcoming, they can give you all kinds of tips what to do in and around Cape Town. The breakfast is good and fresh every morning. The room is great and you can find everything you need in there. We stayed a bit longer at the property because our flight home was later in the evening, we checked out of our room but enjoyed the garden and swimming pool during the day. I would suggest to make this complimentary in the stay.

Atholl house is a jewel in the Cape Town accommodation space. Tine and Ani and the entire staff were so professional and attentive from the moment we arrived. The property has three very spacious rooms with all the comforts of home. Our stay in Cape Town was further enhanced by the local knowledge that the team gave to us. If ever considering Cape Town as a holiday destination or just a few days stop over, you could not find a more professional and comfortable stay.
