Back up power of some sort to get water -but this wasn't a huge issue as the load shedding stuck to schedule.

Wonderful host who had thought of the all the little details like coffee, tea, milk , rusks and even washing powder for the washing machine.

Great position - very quiet with superb view of sea and kite surfers. Easy walking to restaurants and bars. Afternoon and evening sunshine on the balcony.

The lift was not working however we were made aware of this ahead of time and it was beyond the host's control but the view definitely made up for the cardio. Additionally, it would be even better if would the hosts consider installing an inverter so that the wifi could stay on during loadshedding

From the time you open the front door and see the Atlantic Ocean - the holiday begins. A great place to stay. Very comfortable and some nice touches like beach towels and of course the view of Cape Town and Table Mountain from the Balcony are amazing. Not to mention watching the kite surfers on a windy day (The balcony was quite protected from the wind) and a different sun set every evening. The garage was nice to store bikes and surfboards in. The beach is one block away and the village/town a short walk. The host Hendri, was accommodating and checked up on us to see that everything was good. We would love to stay again.

The unit was equipped with everything we needed. The view from the main bedroom, living room, and balcony is incredible. Lovely bedding and had a good rest.

Lift was broken and 8 floor is a lot of stairs, but I was told before the time. Would have been awesome if the lift was working, but I know it was beyo d your contrl

We never met the caretaker. We used WhatsApp to contact him. We were told that we would get a refresh service during stay which was supposed to take place on the Thursday as Friday was a public holiday. The cleaner never showed up. We contacted the caretaker to not bother that night as we were leaving on the Monday, he was a but slow with responding. I also contacted Carol the owner who was always very quick to reply to any questions. Be aware that in South Africa load shedding is a way of life now. So this will mean no electricity a couple of times a day. There are no generations in the flat so you won't have power. Electric lamps were provided. The lift to the 8th floor was working as there is a generator for the lift and electric security gate at the entrance to the property. Unlucky for us on the last night we got back the lift was not working and the next morning it had not been fixed. Luckily my niece carried all our luggage down the stairs as my 77 year old mother was not able to carry her bags.

The flat is on the 8th floor. So views over the bay are great. You are one street from the beach road. The balcony has a great little sitting area to enjoy your coffee in the morning or watching the sunset with a glass of wine in the evening. The apartment has 2 bathrooms one with bath the other with a shower. The two bedrooms are of good size, one with double bed with the on suit shower and the 2nd bedroom with two single beds. Pillows were very comfy. Wifi is provided and DSTV. Kitchen, Dining area and livingroom is one big room. Kitchen is more then adequate with big fridge. Milk was provided for us as a welcome pack which was nice. We were also able to leave our luggage in the flat before check-in time, we met the cleaner there and she let us in and provided the keys to the flat which was nice as we didn't want to leave it in the car the whole day. The property has high fence and electric gate entrance and a dedicated car parking space for the flat. There is also a swimming pool on the property.

The lift didn't work when we were there and walking up to the 8th floor was extremely inconvenient.

The view is amazing. The apartment is equipped with everything you need. Everything is neat and close to restaurants and the beach.

had to wait for the (friendly) host for 15 minutes although I had confirmed twice During mornings there is a lot of traffic jam into Cape Toen You need at least an hour and most excursions do not have pick up service in that area

There's nothing I did not like.

Perfect location close to all amenities. A very comfortable apartment, with a magnificent ocean view. Andre made it very easy to access the property by meeting us at a time suitable to our schedule.
