Only thing I can think of is that pool is in shade most of the day, and could use a little upgrade but hey, there are a lot of nice seats in the sun or grass to lay on.

Great location on own winefields just 15m walk from midtown, small pool, awesome views on mountains and winefields, nice spacious room, good breakfast and friendly personnel. We'll be back!

We had a very relaxing & comfortable stay. The breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed getting a different quote wrapped around our serviettes every morning. The Clermont Shiraz is fantastic!

Such a beautiful guesthouse with vineyards and fruit trees and magnificent mountain views. Less than a kilometre from the main road of Franschhoek. Angela and Stella were very welcoming. Breakfasts were beautifully presented.

A beautiful hotel in the middle of vineyards in a lovely town. The attention to detail was lovely. The bedroom was very well decorated and the bed super comfy. The breakfast was delicious and the staff friendly. They allowed us to drop luggage early so we could go and enjoy the wine tram. Very tranquil house that I wished we could have spent more time in. Highly recommended.

It doesn't have the beautiful views that some other places have, but it was still in a lovely, peaceful position, and had old school charm which more than made up for that. We loved it!

The rooms were cavernous and the beds super comfortable with beautiful high quality linens. A lot of thought had gone into what would make for a comfortable stay - and everything was there - for eg, a magnifying mirror in the bathroom, fresh milk in the fridge, umbrellas etc etc. The breakfast was amazing and they were also able to make something that wasn't on the menu - and it was superb.

Everything fantastic! Got a royal welcome. Staff and manager among the best we ever met. Room charming beyond expectations. Magic moments on reclining chairs near the vinyard watching the starry sky. Breakfast insuperable with local smoked trout omelette never to be forgotten

Stunning location and so lovely to be out of town (but in walking distance). Nothing was too much trouble for this hotel - we arrived early and were immediately shown to our rooms, even though we were a couple of hours early for check-in, we were frequently late to breakfast but it was no trouble and after we'd checked out we were offered evening showers before our flight home. Exceptional service, very clean and welcoming & a fab breakfast too. We came to this place on a recommendation from friends and will definitely be spreading the news

Brilliant hotel - one of the best we've ever stayed in. The location among the vineyards, on the outskirts of (but still walkable to) Franschhoek was lovely. Our room was beautiful, with gorgeous views of the mountains from our bed. Staff were lovely. Breakfast was delicious.
