Apart from the fact that the golf carts are available for transportation, the waiting times for the golf carts to arrive can be improved on. There were a few times where we had to wait some time for the cart to arrive and ended up walking up and down.

Love the natural surroundings and the overall experience. Will be back soon

we didn’t like the old out dated rooms and broken tiles on the floors as you stepped on them you could here them cracking underneath your feet. Please improve on the warm waters if you can, that’s what your should be well known for and spoke to a few people that had travelled far just for that and were disappointed

We decided to visit Avalon Springs as we have not been in a very long time. First impression the staff is amazing, all of them greeted and were very helpful. You should really be proud of your staff as if it was not for them, then you would not have a successful resort. After settling in we took a walk around the hotel definitely needs some upgrades and you can see a lot of water damage everywhere. Certain things need attention, from all around the resort. We noticed the smallest things like light fixtures hanging, water damaged walls, broken clocks, broken tiles in our bathroom, I just think you really need to take the time and fix these things so it can be an even amazing place. The one thing we definitely noticed was the warm waters was not as warm as it used to be so that was a bit disappointing still warm but not like it was years ago. The food at the Deli and Restaurant was great and even the breakfast the staff really go all out with this. I would suggest having some sort of card system you can purchase your drinks on so you don’t have to walk around with your wallet to the pool area, then you just pay this at check out. Please also put more rubber mats in the indoor swimming pool as its very slippery and we saw a child running and slipped yes, I know you not supposed to run but these are kids.

1. Generally, the swimming pools temperature was luke warm and not as hot as it was prior to the renovations. There was one tub that we enjoyed as the water was hotter than the other pools (close to bar area). However, it was always crowded and occupied as most people wanted to be in that tub for the heat - therefore at times we were turned around and went back to our room as the one hot pool/tub had no space for us to enjoy the water. Please could you kindly relook at the water temperature as we mainly come to Avalon Springs to enjoy the hot water. 2. The jacuzzi under the roof on the deck was luke warm and not bubbling.

We loved the newly renovated swimming area, giving us plenty of space to swim. We loved the evening ambiance with beautiful pool and garden lights.

The Restaurant's menu is quite expensive. The kids meals on the menu is too big portions although the food is nice. For the units above the Restaurant and reception can be noisy when staff is clocking off at night and clocking in early morning.

The food at the restaurant was not what I would have expected.. As a vegetarian there was limited choice and those that were on offer were too spicy. Amazing restaurants in town like Cafe22 and Burgundy Gherkin so bypassed the resort’s restaurant for the week.

The hot springs were amazing. Unfortunate that the one water slide inside the guest’s area was closed during the Easter weekend.

Bed was lumpy and rooms a bit outdated.

Pools were awesome, unfortunately one of the water slides were broken. Breakfast is a feast and staff are really helpful and friendly.

The designated smoke points are far from the hotel and no smoking is allowed on the balconies. The food at the cafe near the pool area was really bad and low quality.

Breakfast had good variety. The pool was awesome and is open 24hrs. Entrance into the ground floor rooms dangerous due to the high step at the entrance.

The site is very neat and well kept. The resort and swimming pools layout is lovely. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. All in all, a commendable resort.

Bathroom floor was sticky, buildup of chemicals and not stripped often enough. Shower in bath not suitable for big and tall folks. Pool and pool deck outside our room was in dire need of refurbishment and hot tub had no controls to switch on the jets. Welcome letter makes mention of happy hour at the pool bar but the staff at the bar advised that happy hour has been stopped, a number of folks also made mention of this.

Buffet breakfast very good, great selection of food. Hot water spring pools were wonderful for relaxation. Bedroom was spacious. Very nice location between the mountains. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Shower was cold. Speaking to other guests at the same time it appeared this was a hotel wide issue. There was alot of animal droppings on the deck outside our room, so meant we couldn't really use that area.

Slightly dated but clean and comfortable rooms. Hot springs are in a beautiful setting and a lovely place to relax. A bonus that they are open 24/7. Buffet in the morning had a very wide selection and was a good standard.

Booking the furthest house in the mountain, having elderly with you, is a bit tough.

I loved the accommodation and the view. From the moment I arrived, everyone was helpful and friendly. Great swimming area as well.

The entertainment staff was not very enthusiastic about involving all the kids in activities. There were many kids from the day visitors and also the hotel but few participated as they were not motivated by the staff.

We were on 6 th floor. Nice golf cart to get you there but had to climb about 3 flights of steps to get to room.

Pools are fantastic. Staff goes out of their way to make you comfortable. Views great!
