The wifi in the rooms aren’t great and in general there isn’t cellphone signal in the rooms so this is problematic.

Beautiful location, friendly service and decent buffet selection. The greater estate is great for walks and relaxing.

Restaurants and cafes closed on weekdays due to low visitor numbers. Also, ants in all rooms.

It was a special occasion - my wife's 40th bday and thought they could have done a little extra! TV and channels outdated through - could improve on inhouse entertainment.

Great location, facilities, close to MTB, room was spacious. Food was ok but it was lockdown so difficult to service great food.

Next time I will remember to request a double bed as we were not asked, and were given two twin beds. Sleeping on the ridge to snuggle up to my hubby was most uncomfortable. The service in the restaurant was certainly not what we expected of a hotel of Avianto's standing, but I do believe the manager is new so hopefully things will improve. The dinner and breakfast choices were a little disappointing though.

The reception staff were amazing; super friendly and very accommodating. The venue is truly beautiful with a charming Tuscan feel to it. And our room was simply gorgeous. Being able to walk around the grounds in the evening before dinner was very special. Dinner was delicious. All in all, a really lovely experience.

The rooms are tired and old You can tell that once upon a time they were grand and luxe but today they are far from that. Water taps are hard to use… you have to turn them for ages to open and close Rooms need to be aired more - some have an old stale smell We were there for a wedding and arrive 2hrs before checkin , we asked if room was by any chance ready , we were told no. We then heard that early check in was R200 extra, we asked if we can do this and all of a sudden our room was available…. Why they just didn’t say it first time is beyond me??? Would have saved us precious time!

1. I asked for special request and they could not meet it. For a place that holds events how can you not have one balloon? 2. The breakfast was cold and I had to ask for more bread. There were no pancakes for children. Plus had to wait in a long queue for eggs 3. Had to juggle with the taps in the bathroom to find the right temperature of water 4. The in room dining dinner pasta was terrible. 5. Not a safe place for toddlers. The playground is far away and on a hill and people who are not staying at the resort were there drinking

Service was horrible. We were there for my sister’s wedding. most of us requested early check in, which was confirmed but rooms were not ready. our suite was still not ready by normal check in time. Cleaning staff did not remove the previous guests eyelashes and razor blade. The curtains opposite the bed were falling, we couldn’t get much sleep beyond the light coming through. The key was deactivated before 10:00 (normal check-out time), even though we were given the key after normal check-in due to cleaning delays. The waiters serving the wedding reception were overwhelmed. We had to remind our waiter twice about my apple juice, which came after an hour. The stale juice came in a glass, and was told they don’t have cans. I ordered tea and waited Atleast 20 minutes to be told they are about to serve dessert and there will too with dessert, so told to wait for that. We had asked that all 5 tiers of the wedding cake be cut and served as part of the dessert. kitchen chose to cut 2 cakes and left us 3 cakes which we didn’t know what to do with the next morning. We forgot the parking card in the room and had to pay R100 for it!
