Although we had a lovely room - the Luna de Miel suite - which was very large and comfortable, the room could have done with a safety deposit box and a fridge to store cold drinks in the room rather than using the communal fridge / honesty bar in the downstairs kitchen. That should not be a distraction from the overall stay comments - just something to perhaps note for future reference.

Breakfast was average and slightly boring. Both mornings exactly the same with no variation. Fresh fruit, yoghurt and muesli, croissants and scrambled eggs. I asked for two single beds for my son and his friend, but they had to share a king.

The only con was not having a good enough breakfast it was not enough for the bridal team and myself , this should improve in the future .

I got ready here for my wedding and my bridal team slept in the cottage and I slept in the bridal with mother it was amazing place to get ready at it.

Only downside is that we could hear the cars in the highway but it’s rather a white noise than an annoyance.

Everything! This was exactly what we were looking for: coziness, privacy, comfort. The swimming pool overlooking the garden, and tennis court is a plus. The horses in the gardens add a charming vibe to the place. Matthew was also very helpful and responsive to our requests. We could see the sunset from our room. We will definitely be back!

There is nothing I didn’t like about the property. It was absolutely amazing!

I was enchanted by the property for several reasons. Firstly, the picturesque setting on a wine farm with rolling vineyards was simply breathtaking. The presence of horses added a touch of rustic charm and serenity to the surroundings. However, what truly captivated me was the magnificent manor house itself. Its architecture and elegant design exuded a timeless beauty that made my stay feel like a fairytale come true.

It was dirty between bath and window. The tea station was inadequate, often there were no cups, there was no milk, no place to put your tea bag. It would be great to have a small dustbin at tea station. Bed side lamp did not work. It is a honeymoon suite, but there were no matches for the candles? Missing in personal touches, that add warmth and welcome. We asked for lemons and lots of water. There were no lemons and we eventually had to get water bottles from other rooms, as they were sometimes not provided at all.

Breakfast was very good and always served on time.

Highly recommend this place for family vacation. Location is very good, in the middle of cape winelands, staff was ever so helpful. My family loved Matthew for his friendly service. Will definitely visit again.

We had the family room and would have preferred aircon in both rooms. Also that particular room's bathroom can do with an upgrade. The other rooms are stunning.

A beautiful location and character homestead. Close to all the main attractions and hot spots of the area. Our host & the team was excellent and did a great job facilitating a memorable stay for us.

Got no sleep as were carried away by mosquitoes and no Peaceful sleep or citronella available at all. Do not open windows or you will die with Mosquito bites. Must notify people of this and supply remedies to combat the situation. All rooms need Aircon.
