I love everything about this place. The safety, friendly and welcoming owners. No problem of loadshedding. The braai area is the one to die for. My family and I travel to Cape Town twice a year and this always my home away from home. Everything you need for over night stay is there.

We came late so we couldn't utilise the swimming pool and it was covered. Other than that which was not the fault of the place, there's nothing we didn't like

Quiet area, beautiful and clean unit...really home away from home. The bed was the most comfortable...had a great night's rest after driving for a while and stopping over at various other locations too...

This was definitely a “Bakgat Blyplek” a home away from home in every sense. Christiaan and Cornel have gone the extra mile to make this a home and not another overnight stay.

The shower floors become slippery from the soap and shampoo and it might be wise to install non-slip strips near the outlet. I would also appreciate floor mats next to the bed in the bedroom to wipe my feet before I get into bed. However, neither of these detracts in any way from the pleasant stay we enjoyed.

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed at Bakgat Blyplek and this will be our go-to accommodation whenever we travel through Beaufort West. Bakgat Blyplek has set a level of excellence for others to emulate. The entire premises are neat and attractive, creating a positive backdrop for the apartments. The apartments are spacious, luxurious, and well-appointed, well suited for both an overnight stay and a longer holiday. It is only a short drive to the Karoo National Park and would be my choice of accommodation when visiting the Park. The spacious apartments with their tasteful decor and practical layout lend themselves to business meetings too, with restaurants within a short walking distance.

A really insignificant issue, but bedroom floor mats would be appreciated. In all other respects, this is a highly recommended stayover.

Very tastefully decorated and high quality furnishings. High end 4-Star venue. Secure parking and ease of checking in/out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be back without the slightest hesitation.

This was by far the best overnight stay I have had in my 40+ years of traveling through the Karoo. Such good tasteful decor, cleanliness and the price is nowhere to be found (except here of course). I certainly can recommend.

The neighbors was a bit loud... but once alerted the owner took steps and sorted it out immediately.

Everything!! Seamless check-in. Very comfortable and clean. Everything you would need for a great stay. And everything is very well maintained. I would recommend staying at Bakgat!!
