It would be great if departure time could be extended from 9:00 to 10:30 to allow for an unrushed beach walk and breakfast before leaving.

It is an excellent location, and the host communicated via WhatsApp, which was helpful while travelling. The apartment was clean, neat, comfortable and secure.

A fantastic unit that caters for everything, a home away from home. We loved the sea view, such glorious sunrises. Great place for a family, beach within walking distance and there was a sparkling blue pool. We had a fabulous holiday and will certainly book a return trip. Thank you Sandy.

There could be more crockery like plates. Maybe some of them got broken over time. Check-in and Check-out times were not too handy for us but we managed. Communication was good though and reasons well explained

This apartment has the perfect location! It's basically on the main beach, close to most shops and restaurants, easy to get to and really quiet!

It may be useful for the apartment owners to consider investing in double glazed windows and sliding doors, to 'sound proof' the apartment from the tidal wave noises which are amplified during the night and tend to disturb a healthy sleeping cycle needed for relaxation.

Beautiful apartment overlooking the Indian Ocean. The apartment is neat and has all the needed home accessories. The complex also feels safe, clean and makes for great beach adventure for some of us that get to visit the coast once in a while

Nothing to do with this specific apartment however I had to go down to the car gate to get my food deliveries, in most places the security lets delivery drivers in to deliver to your door. Maybe the complex needs to establish a system for this.

It was clean, had an amazing view of the beach and in a safe area. I even extended my stay.

The building has a generator that keeps lights on around the complex during load shedding but the elevators don't work which could leave a disabled person stranded for a some time, make sure you check the load shedding schedule for the day and it won't affect you. bring a few extra battery lamps and power banks for load shedding. a small gas stove for the unit would be nice too so we could make coffee during load shedding.

great view of the ocean and beach, 2 swimming beaches within 300m away, plenty of restaurants around, a checkers and a spar near by. braai facilities, a swimming pool, great fishing spots near by. security is excellent, felt very safe. All staff were very friendly and accommodating. The unit has 2 bathrooms with showers that my semi disabled parents could easily get in and out of. There is a board walk along the beaches that my Mom could walk on which is level, the ramp from the pedestrian gate to the board walk is a little bit steep but manageable (about 4.5m long with a 1m incline). The balcony has a roof so we could sit outside and watch he ocean all day whether it rained or it was very sunny. The unit has an inverter that lasted the full 4 hours of loadshedding we had. The inverter only powers the tv and wifi but there are rechargeable battery lamps provided. We were extremely happy :)

Although it is self-catering, it would be nice to have a few sachet of coffee, sugar, milk or water in the fridge on arrival. (Atleast for one cup per person) The UPS is very old, after power failure it only lasted for about 15 minutes. new inverter is going to cost you about 10k, but will be able to power the TV for atleast 5 hours. The old inverters also takes more electricity to charge - and they dont last long. It is also costing you more in the long run. Newly painted walls, but the place did smell odd though as the walls were freshly painted. (Beautiful ;) Overall, I will stay there again. The view is just gorgeous. I will recommend this place.

The property spoiled us with luxury and provided a 4 star hotel experience. The apartment is furnished with high quality equipment and furniture which creates a sense of comfort, tranquility, and relaxation. The linen and the apartment were fresh, tidy, clean, and crisp. The Kitchen: The kitchen is equipped with all the equipment a chef could ask for. The hand blender was a real treat as we could make lovely pancakes on the rainy days. We enjoyed using the sandwich machine to make some classic cheese toasties. We enjoyed cooking with ease having various kitchen tools to our disposal. Being provided was dish soap, cleaning cloths, and drying cloths was thoughtful, practical, and useful. The Bathrooms: Wow! The water pressure was fantastic! The showers are equipped with shower gel, liquid hand soap, and toilet paper, which was amazing. Thank you for the thoughtfulness of providing these small items that add to comfort. Towels are clean, sufficient sizes and there are more than enough for every person. Luxury spoils: The apartment is equipped with a very big and lovely beach bag, variety of beach toys, smart tv (we logged into our disney+ account and had wonderful movie nights) and good wifi. The host and staff Walking into the apartment, we received a warm welcome from the friendly and kind cleaner. The host, Sandy, is very welcoming, resourceful, and helpful. She responds quickly to inquiries and provided us with information such as the loadshedding schedule before we could have even thought of asking. Her attention to detail to provide a comfortable stay is highly appreciated. The Beach: The wooden walkway stretched along the beach was a beautiful path for the daily jogs or evening walks. The beach is safe and clean. The pool in the compound was clean and great. The property has an outdoor tap and shower for rising the sand before entering the apartments. This was lovely as the apartment remained free from unwanted sand.

Initially we had to pay a deposit by bank. Difficult when you are living in Europe. The owner was so nice to skip it when it turned out to be almost impossible.

The bottles of shampoo in the bathrooms were both empty. cleanliness could have been better. there are no aircons so would not book there in summer, but it was absolutely fine as we stayed there in winter.

The location was excellent, right on the beach, the Apartment was spacious and it has an invertor. It is well equipped and we had everything we needed. We would book there again in winter.

The unit was ultra clean. Had everything one needs. Beds so comfy. The view is amazing with a large patio with a table and comfy couches. My definite go to in Ballito.
