Everything was amazing. The breakfast was scrumptious with lots of different options at the buffet table. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The view was spectacular. It was definitely worth it.

Nothing, our stay was amazing and we even got a little champagne courtesy of the Lodge as we were celebrating our wedding anniversary.

The views where magnificent, the breakfast was absolutely delicious and to top it off there are little off roads so you can walk to neighbouring vineyards for wine tasting.

Kettle. Did not work - bin lid broken - the linnen on the bed could be fitted better the fitted sheet was to big and the duvet. Cover was not button closed . Marvelous room otherwise. Thank you for the upgrade . Hope to come back year end .

Nothing.... we loved everything - only thing we didnt like is that we couldnt stay longer and had to leave this beautiful place.

We absolutely loved our stay at Banhoek. We sure to come and visit there again when we in the area again. You wont go wrong if you want amazing!!!!

The friendly staff and homely atmosphere was really welcoming. The homemade breakfast especially the bran muffins was incredible. It was a really close walk through the vines to the Zorgvliet winery. The room was unbelievable and we were lucky enough to get upgraded to the deluxe room. That bathroom is now in my dreams to build one day.

Loadshedding still affects the property and experience negatively. Hopefully a generator/full solar is on the horizon.

Best view in Stellenbosch. Comfortable, sizeable room (6). Just a relaxing, wonderful stay. The Manager (Michael) was attentive to all our needs.

The air conditioner went off when there was load shedding, as did the sockets, so I couldn't do my hair before a wedding and we were hot in the night. When we returned from the wedding at 1030pm, there was no water as it was load shedding, We had to wait until midnight for the water to come back on to wash and clean our teeth before bed. We were told the next morning that somebody had forgotten to turn the switch that would keep it on!

The staff were friendly, warm, welcoming. Our room was large and beautifully furnished, with lovely mountain views. The bathroom was modern and, very nicely done with all we needed. The bed was comfortable and the mini bar had a nice selection. Breakfast was delicious and served by a friendly helpful staff member.

the property is a bit tired (could do with new paint and cleaner common areas) the breakfast coffee was not nice, the bottle water offered in the rooms tasted weird location was nice but too close to the road (so a bit noisy)

The poor amenities for the price. no full- length mirror, no hand towel rail, no plug at mirror for hair dryer, no privacy in bathroom, outside people looking into bedroom, way too expensive for the room, outside door difficult to close, not enough complimentary water. on the plus side, the view from the room is outstanding and it was close to the wedding venue but they are taking advantage of this by their high price

Possibly the most beautiful hotel view I have ever seen! I don’t think the photos do it justice. This place is AMAZING! The rooms are beautiful, the breakfast was delicious (French toast, bacon, banana, cream cheese and honey is my recommendation). Staff were lovely and it’s an easy taxi or drive to Stellenbosch and Franschoek.
