The room was right next to the pub which was very noisy. I would have preferred a quieter space. The shower curtain was very dirty - I would replace that soon. It's not hygienic. I would also offer rooibos tea.

The location was great. So easy to find and close to the road. Barrydale is so pretty. There is much to see and cute little restaurants and cafés to visit and enjoy.

Beds and pillows were a bit old and dated, room needs an upgrade with some paint. Blinds in the room were old and dusty. No air-conditioning or fans

Lovely location. Everything met my expectations except that due to load shedding I was not able to make myself a cup of coffee on rising. Perhaps you should warn your guests to bring along a hot water thermos flask to put boiling water into the night before so as to ensure they have hot water the next morning for coffee. Why not even supply your guests with one? Shows them you care. Also I suggest you replace the old and blocked shower head that lets out three squirts of needle like jets of water because the rest of the holes are caulked closed. Just brush the inside of the holes plate off with a steel brush. I had to dance around in the shower to get wet, so showering was a miserable experience simply due to your lack of maintenance. I didn't even bother having my usual morning shower which set my mood flor the rest of the day on DOWN. ;-(

The accommodation is pet friendly but definitely not pet-safe, as there's no fencing, preventing your fur kiddies to run into the mainroad.

The accommodation is what was expected for the price, and being a back-packers room. Unfortunately the back-packers is located on the main road, with road noise quite close to you. Very nice restaurant and bar facilities with extremely friendly staff.

We stayed for one night on our way back to Capetown from our Garden Route trip. It is a nice place to stay. Staff was very nice. The pub is a nice typically small village pub. It was a little bit noisy with loud music, but for a Saturday evening okay :) People definitely enjoyed their time! We had the option to be part of a braai in the evening. You can get easily in touch with the locals. Good place! Thank you!

Beds in family room were uncomfortable and worn out. I could feel the slats of the bed through the verlepte mattress.

Great location on the main strip... Staff were friendly, and we joined the braai night where salad and bread was supplied. Staff braai'd our meat for us. It was great.

Lack of of mats in the bathroom. Stepping out from a hot shower onto cold cement floor is not the best feeling.

Staff was exceptionally friendly and location was perfect as I needed to be just accross the road the next day. I was pleasantly surprised with my nest for the evening. I will definitely be returning in the future.😉

Beds and linen quite dated. Right next to pub and outdoor drinking area, so could be very noisy on drinking nights.

Excellent price for a private room with en suite at a backpackers. Rustic styling. On the main road and easy to find.

Noise Cleanliness

Get what you pay for. Very noisy, bar underneath and room next door had a family with kids screaming till early hours of the morning. Room could do with a deep clean. Overall the room met basic expectations. Small kitchenette with tea/coffee facilities, don't think you could make much else in there.
