The unit we chose was advertised as small fenced garden...it was very small fenced area with no real garden just small patch of false grass. Unit in need of a little TLC. ... But new owners.

The lights did not work in the bathroom and in the main bedroom. The plugs also did not work in the main room. They told us that not all the lights and plugs worked during load shedding, because of the solar system. But after load shedding was finished it still did not work. We also did not have enough toilet paper for the 1 night.

We had a lovely short stay. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Perfect rooms to stay with kids. The patio was great outside. Beautiful garden and pool area. Kids loved watching the Koi fish.

Location close to airport, beaches and good sized town of Ballito. Pool and BBQ facilities were great. We were not affected by the load shedding like we experienced in other places.

The swimming pool was always clean and the beds were very comfortable. There is a light that stays on even during loadshedding.

Please check all the blankets in the cupboard. There was one light grey and white (I think) . It had a very bad smell. The rest of the blankets were clean, thank you for that. We had hot water and enjoyed our showering time until the last day ..... please check what was the problem as we had to use cold water. I also realized that when having a challenge I should make a phone call not send WhatsApp message (lol) as you respond very fast on calls.

The place is beautiful and the people are welcoming. We had a great time, it's definitely a home away from home. I will definitely come back ! We arrived very late as we were from Gauteng and most restaurants were closed. (She) I think it's the owner arranged for us to have something to eat. We had a delicious dinner, you are a blessing. In the room we had everything we needed including the sugar and milk ha ha ha ..... Thank you. From the time when I made a booking I received notifications regarding my booking and they made sure that I got everything I needed. Thank you.

Good proximity to the beach, easy to walk there with my dogs. They were able to be secure in the king suite do to the little outside enclosure. The hosts are friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room is shady and cool with a comfy bed.

Beach Forest Lodge was perfectly located in a quiet street within walking distance from the beach and very close to restaurants, shops and other amenities. The accommodation had everything we needed and was well kitted out and comfortable. Wonderful swimming pool area, lush well maintained gardens and beautiful Koi ponds.

THE COLD ....THERE WAS VERY LITTLE SUN COMING THROUGH BECAUSE OF ALL THE FORRESTY THEME.

I like that it was really private and not many guests where booked in at the same weekend. THE HOST WAS VERY WELCOMING, My kids enjoyed her hospitality.

Friendly staff, daily cleaning, easy walk to the beach, welcomed our doggies with opened arms, safe, secure in garage parking, modern facilities, towels and bedding done. All the luxuries of a 5-star! Loved everything! The weather was perfect all 10 days and for some reason the lodge was so exceptional we didn’t even leave it to go to the beach on a couple of days - we just stayed there, ordered Uber Foods and relaxed at our home away from home! Mom, daughter (16) and niece (20) with our 3 doggies!
