Confirm which floor/apartment will you be staying at. The images on the boking site create an impression that you are booking a penthouse, it was only when we arrived that we realized it's a 3 story building with multiple apartments and we did not stay at the penthouse we were looking forward to.

Excellent location, very neat and clean with quality finishes, very helpful host who helped recommend go to places and arranged some of the bookings for us.

Kitchen lacked a few basics. A salad bowl for example. But this was minor and we managed

Wonderful location, clean, good WiFi, comfortable beds and quality linen. Quiet ( except when the generator was running). The host was excellent. Very helpful and responded to all queries and gave suggestions. Great to have a Braai facility and large fridge freezer. Washing machine a plus.

Water jug not refilled when empty. AC units are temperamental and need instructions. Only two of four rooms with a view.

Some modernisation would be beneficial, eg the decor / tv but that’s a minor comment. Highly recommend staying here

The location is amazing! Absolutely stunning being by the ocean. The penthouse is huge and we loved it. The balcony was a gem.

The only thing that I would say is not that big of an issue but because of the restaurant that is in front you get a food and extractor fan smell every now and again

Beacon House is out of this world. It is a gem!!! Located in the eastern head, in close proximity to popular restaurants, lagoon beach, and heads' view points. The apartment we stayed in was exquisite, from its well appointed bedrooms, to comfy seating areas, and to wrap around expansive balcony overlooking the ocean and the lagoon . Ohh the staff is amazing. Always available to help. Prompt, proactive and on point! We have made ourselves a promise to come back to this place again and again when we visit Knysna!

Make available garages over an above the car ports Couches in the balcony needs to be covered in case of rain.

Nothing to complain

The location of the house and the views over the island and the sea are simply superb. The house is very clean, nothing to complain about. It has a fully functional kitchen, modern amenities, and comfortable beds, among others. It's so nice to be inside the house after a long day out. The host, with its management team, is the best I've dealt with so far. The host even arranged for a catamaran tour at a reasonable price. Great suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. I initially booked for one night and ended up with 2 nights. I'll definitely stay again at this apartment. Strongly recommended. My rating is 10/10.

Communication was very good, met on arrival by Amarillo who welcomed us and showed us around. Unit we stayed in was on the 1st floor with lovely views, was even more impressive the higher up you went. The Unit was very large, clean and full of natural light. Sound of the sea was incredible.

The restaurant opposite had eyesore rubbish outside. It would have been great if the place had a pool.

I travelled with family. We booked Penthouse 6. It’s neat, spacious, lovely and luxurious. Clean linen. The staff is amazing. Amarille is an excellent host. She welcomed us and took us through the finer details upon checking in. She even recommended good restaurants nearby. A crib was arranged for my baby. She went out of her way to courier an item we forgot at the establishment. Beacon House has a generator, so no need to worry about loadshedding. It’s a place to be! Did I mention it’s luxurious!
