The restaurant was closed on Sunday from 3pm. We were informed of this in the morning and were offered to order food which we could heat up in the microwave in our room. Luckily we had gotten an uphrade from a normal room to one with kitchenette. Location was hard to find and a bit away from the centre.

Very modern accommodation. Tv in room offered Prime which was nice. Safe parking with 24 hr guard. Restaurant on site. We recommend you book a table on Saturday evenings. We had a flat tire and Darlene helped us with this which is very much appreciated. Thank you!

A lovely unexpected location on the outskirts of town overlooking bird-filled wetlands. Newly built, room has patio, kitchenette and bathroom with big shower. Breakfast offered an extensive buffet, and evening meals can be taken at adjacent restaurant, The Shed. Covered parking and security.

The host was amazing and went out of her way to make us comfortable. The view from our bedroom was exceptional and the donkeys and horses on the property kept the kids entertained. Will definitely stay here again.

The setting for Bellas Rest is stunning and all rooms have a verandah overlooking the ponds/ wetlands .There are horses and donkeys roaming free in the grounds! The rooms are superb with beautiful ensuites and everything you could possibly need. Breakfast, if you choose to include it in your booking is currently available at the Shed Bar and Grill across the other side of the grounds where we also had very good evening meals.We had wonderful omelettes for breakfast, my only slightly negative comment would be that there are only cooked breakfast options whereas I would have enjoyed fruit, yogurt, pap etc. However, the guest house has just added an extension with a stunning breakfast room which opens next week so bringing the whole venue up to absolute perfection! The manageress Daleen is a lovely lady who cannot do enough to make your stay perfect and was more than helpful in organising a private guide for us to do a Zulu Battlefields tour.

The place is so stunning! Modern finishes you would not expect for the location! It beats MANY big city guesthouses by a mile! Everyone from the guards to the host were absolutely amazing thank you so much wish we could’ve stayed longer.

There is nothing that I did not like.

I loved that we were met at our car by the lovely hostess, she personally accompanied us to our room. The room was very spacious and so beautifully decorated and furnished. The beds were very comfortable and aircon was in perfect working condition. The gardens are beautiful and neat. I was really impressed, will definitely recommend Bellas Rest to anyone.

Bella's Rest is a gem in Dundee! Warm welcome and clear explanations from Daleen. We stayed in a suite and the bedroom and bathroom were well equipped, modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable and the linen fresh and crisp. Secure parking was a bonus, as was having a restaurant for dinner [extra] and breakfast [included] within the complex and approximately 200m from the accomodationon. We will certainly stay again if needing accommodation in Dundee
