Drains were not draining properly ( we informed them). Shelf over sink made brushing teeth and washing difficult. Hook on inside of bedroom door would have been nice. Queen size bed would have allowed a bit more useful space to put down luggage etc. very draughty where doors don’t fit properly.

We enjoyed our stay the dinner was exceptional and the staff very friendly. The only issue we had was the basin in the bath room is difficult to wash your face with the glass shelf over it.

Guests should be warned that the bathroom is not en suite and is on the ground level, hence, if you are on the top floor or even first floor, it is quite a mission to get to it in the dark - not suitable for guests with walking difficulties. The wooden floors and round bed are also extremely noisy for non-family members occupying the tower rooms separately (downstairs).

Accommodation easily accessible and comfortable. Remote town in the middle of nowhere with all its traditions and culture and beautiful people. This town has its own beauty by nature nestled among mountains. Plenty of restaurants and shops and people are very friendly.

Portion size of the food. We stayed at the same place 2 years ago and the pork belly was so good. So we ordered the same for dinner. This time it was more expensive and half the size.

The toilet was downstairs and was a mission to get to if you're staying upstairs but we knew this was the case before we went. The shower does fill up quickly and if you shower for too long it could overflow.

The accomodation is on the same property as a heritage museum, showcasing the mythical beliefs and folklore of the Xam people. The staff are all part Bushman and have contributed to the creation of the museum. The food is delicious and you can dine in the art gallery. The gallery is home to the wonderful work of the local staff who have learnt various artistic techniques to display the imagery of their culture through Lino prints and wonderful hand-made tapestries. We stayed in the tower and outside we had a patio/veranda with a table set up for dining or reading etc... they set up dinner for us just outside our room for a more intimate experience. The actual room was comfortable and serene. There weren't many appliances but we didn't need them for our one night stay.

We weren't told that the one room did not have a private bathroom connected, so one couple stayed in the house instead. We also didn't know that the house had 3 bedrooms as it was advertised as 1 bed 1 bath, so we booked an extra room unnecessarily. However, these are small concerns as the value for money was excellent.

The house was excellent in terms of space and facilities. Breakfast was a good spread and service very friendly!

the downstairs separate shower and toilet - stairs are not for the elderly, therefore if you book make sure you can climb them at night if you need any facilities.

Breakfast was fabulous, staff was very accommodating in serving breakfast a little earlier as we departed early. The dining area a wonderful eating space with really nice artwork on the walls and a fresh garden stoop on the outside to enjoy the morning

The outside stairs to get to the bathroom takes some getting used to , but the communication around the facilities was very clear. You have to make a booking for dinner in Nieu Bethesda since it is very quiet , especially out of season and not many options available without prior notice. We were treated to a very basic home cooked meal at the Tower.

This was a very different accommodation and I loved it . It was super clean and central and the staff were exceptional. The rooms were comfy and warm despite the cold outside. Staff also accommodated our request for earlier breakfast to get going.
