Its self catering with everything you need and more.Location is great and the facility is beautiful and everything is in great condition. Most comfortable bed and the most beautiful bathroom.Build in outside braai and boma and there is also a woodburning stove with wood inside for the cold Dullstroom nights

There is a beautiful big bath but the geyser isn’t big enough to fill it.( the hot water runs out half way through filling the tub) The WiFi is terrible The duvet was too small for the bed The carpets next to the bed look very old and dirty

I would have loved if there was a power point close to the mirror to plug in a hair dryer and do my hair and make-up in the mornings. And although you don't see your neighbours, you can hear everything they do..

A hidden gem. The small details like the welcome sweets on the bed, the rusks provided to enjoy with our first morning coffee and a cherry in front of the fire place made our stay so special. The small things added up and made a huge contribute to a great weekend away. I have to say, the wood is provided daily for the fire place which was once again, such great attention to detail and a great contribution to our comfort.

The accommodation at Big Oaks was beautiful. The bedroom was large with a stunning bathroom. The fireplace was lovely and the patio and braai outside great for enjoying the garden. The accommodation had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It was quiet and peaceful, yet only a short distance to the Dullstroom shops and restaurants.

Great location away from busy roads, but still easy walking distance to all the great restaurants and shops. Loved the fireplace. Very easy access with combination keypads for the gate and door.

The units could do with an aircon for summer.

We had such a beautiful stay here! The units are absolutely stunning with the biggest shower I have ever seen! Super close to the town so you can walk wherever you need. The property is safe and secure. Our unit also had a lovely patio area with a braai and a fire pit. There is back up power for when there is loadshedding which is a big plus! It was absolutely divine. We will definitely be back!

One small complaint would be that the rooms are not completely sound-proof.

The room was clean and a lot bigger than expected. The high ceilings create an amazing atmosphere and the fireplace makes for cozy and toasty evenings! The fully equipped kitchenette makes self catering hassle-free. The room has blackout curtains which are a bonus for those wishing to sleep in.

Everything was absolutely perfect. The Cottage was exactly as it looked in the brochure. Hassel free gate and cottage entry with coding. Within walking distance of town. Garden and stoep very private. We could not fault a thing. Loved our long weekend.

WiFi was a bit spotty and slow at times.

Big, spacious and luxurious feeling room with a massive shower and bath, and a fireplace. Very comfortable and well-stocked. The entry system means you don't even need a key so you can arrive and leave whenever convenient. The location is within walking distance of the centre of town.

OMG!! This place is amazing. The amount of space is amazing The bed is the best Hubby and I said we need to get a king size bed now after sleeping on that Everything is so clean Wood was restocked every day Honestly would come back to the same place Easy to find and easy to access What a gem!!

Lovely fireplace but electric blankets would make a huge difference or even winter sheets. It would be wonderful if there were 4 towels as the towels do not dry in winter after a shower.

We stayed in cottage 1 Acorn. Beautiful spacious cottage with a kitchen. Within walking distance of the main street and restaurants, although the road is not tarred. Will definitely book this cottage again😁

I did have a lot of trouble with internet usage as it was too slow. I work online doing virtual medical consults for my patients and experienced a lot of trouble with that.

The location was very quiet and peaceful. The staff was extremely professional and very accommodating. I found the stay very comfortable and looked forward to coming back to the lodge after our day's adventures. The housekeepers were very polite and patient with us. The property was very well maintained and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook our own food. We were given an ample supply of firewood on a daily basis which helped us stay warm. There was also outdoor seating for my fiancé and me to sit and do our work as well as eat. There was easy access to restaurants, in fact, most of them were within walking distance. Most importantly, we did not have any trouble with load shedding as the property has solar so that made a huge impact. They also provided laundry service at a very affordable rate. Lastly, the location is very secure which made us feel very safe.
