I would like to thank Derik for his understanding, and caring and making sure that Fezile is waiting for us even if we got there late at night. We were communicating on WhatsApp about arrival times but could not get there on time. Fezile, ensured that we settled in nicely in our room before the load-shedding could kick in. Both Derik and Fezile are very courteous. Thank you so much.

Finding the place was a bit difficult. Thanks to a kind lady who showed me the way to the Guest House (unfortunately did not get her name). Just grateful and thanks to her for helping me to get to the Guest House. Otherwise there is nothing actually not to like about the place..it is comfortable, safe and a quiet place to relax and unwind.

The place was neat and clean and very comfortable. Zanele gave us exellent service. She was friendly and very helpful. Loved her pleasantness.

Was only told in the morning that if I wanted breakfast I should have advised the day before... There's a very loud tarven next door... Recieved 1 set of towels even though I had booked and paid for two, had to demand for a second set after being told that each room gets 1 set... Overall the stay was ok

The room is small. You can't even open the suitcase near the bed. The double bed is small. The entrance to the bathroom is by the closet, and you can't close the door from inside. In the room there is only a refrigerator and kettle. No microwave or roster, so you have to use the ones in the dining room. The place is close to a pub so noisy in the evening/ night. No air-conditioning, only fan. The place is after the main road and market so not fill good, when you come back in the evening.

The room was clean. The bathroom is big. Good breakfast if you order in place ( add 100R)..big garden and lobby you can sit in the evening and make your braai.

Next to the two outside rooms 3 and 4 next to the steps .It would be a good investment if you could erect a wall/burglar . A person might easily fall and hurt themselves . Please I’m pleading

Located next to a tavern, we didn’t experience any trouble from the tavern patrons though. Music was a bit loud which can be disruptive when trying to sleep.

Although everything was good there only thing we were concerned about was not following covid -19 protocols There was no one scanning us for blood pressure and no covid form to fill on arrivals. That shows a high risk level towards covid 19 regulations

Staff was excellent, my room was clean, Bishops Guesthouse is a place that I would recommend to anybody. It's quiet, safe , Good Food , I love the Blue Couch on the Stoop, if feels like home to stay there. I arrived there during LOADSHEDDING, the staff made sure that the was a Flask with Hot water for Tea, and a Light in my Room. All in one sentence: My stay was GREAT. Thanks for the Good Service.

The fact that ironing had to be done outside in the cold weather and drinking water was limited since they are using tank water in the bathroom and is not safe for drinking

I came late and could not quite find the parking and ended up parking on an unmarked area next to the reception door The head board was loose and kept making a noise whenever I moved
