Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

Breakfast was average at best. No menu. Restaurant is self-help(most of it anyway). Location is OK.

South AfricaThere was no extra toilet paper, when i got into the room, there was only a quarter of roll left which didn't make me feel 100% catered for. The security guard at the gate was hardly there and the gate had to be opened manually by guests. the place is very beautiful and has potential but the owners and staff need to step up their game.
Its Private, quiet, relaxing, the room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. The yard is beautiful and well maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful.

QatarWhere to even start!? The water wasn't working when we arrived, curtains and bed sheets stained, one bed had a very lumpy duvet which was changed when questioned. Sliding door wouldn't open. Fridges had almost no drinks, food (meat) was left defrosting out of fridges overnight, BUGS found in the cereal. We felt completely unsafe. Staff seemed completely indifferent to our concerns and I only brought up the worst of them (food hygiene, no water, lumpy duvet). Honestly the absolute worst place I've ever stayed. Oh and by the way, no horses in sight which my girls were very disappointed about. Apparently they had found them all dead. Was offered a refund on the breakfast (which we wouldn't consume out of fear of food poisoning) Of course the refund never arrived. Avoid this place at all costs. Overpriced and appalling in every way.

And please consider this: The entrance need to be improved, maybe negotiate with the municipality to put measures to lower speed in the vicinity of your gate (e.g a stop sign. It is not easy to exit your place when there many cars entering) .. And why have one line as path for entering and exiting the place?
The lady who welcomed us and shown me our rooms was very friendly, patient and forever smilling. This was really good experience, she made it easy for me to ask all the questions I had and feel at home. The room was very spacious and clean. We felt at home. Should I visit vryheid soon, surely I will lodge there again.
