We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

NamibiaBreakfast is super pricey and they were setting up for a wedding which meant you had to sit among the setup if you wanted breakfast. Perhaps there can be guest only areas in these instances. The furniture in the rooms and carpets make it feel quite 80s and dowdy.
Close to the beach with unbeatable views from patio. The room is spacious and large with a kitchenette and equipped for short or long stays. Walking across to the lawns and beach in the morning was wonderful.

The beach is just 50 meters from your terrace. it’s amazing. good breakfast was included. nothing to complain, really. 100% recommended.

South AfricaOur view of Table Mountain was obscured by a cabana in front of our room. Kitchen not ideally equipped for self-catering - only a very small microwave and a hot plate. No generator to deal with loadshedding.
Lovely hotel in excellent location with onsite restaurant. Our room was super-spacious with a lovely balcony. Well planned bathroom was en-suite but also easily accessible to guests.

South AfricaDie ontbytsaal maak 7h oop maar toe is niks op hulle plekke nie. Dit was so bietjie ongerieflik aangesien ons net 20min gehad het om gou ontbyt te eet voor ons weer in die pad moes val. Ons het elk maar 'n koffie gedrink en die kinders maar gou 'n bakkie ontbytpap met melk gegee. Het nogal uitgesien na die spek en eiers wat ons voor betaal het maar verder het ons heerlik in die restaurant die vorige aand geeet.

The place was perfect for what i wanted, great views and right on the beach, when i checked in they gave me room 60 which was not actually what i had booked but was in my opinion far better than a beach Cabana on the ground floor. Staff where very nice, liked i could get out my room for a beer at the bar, and the restaurant had a good menu and delivered to your room, very nice breakfast all you need.

South AfricaCommunication of reception staff is not brilliant especially of what was not included during our stay when we were checking in to allow for a better understanding of the amenities available to us. The attitude of some of the reception staff is not necessarily one of hospitality. On our first morning my Partner and I went to breakfast to find out that we hadn't paid for the breakfast ( this is no big issue, I initially thought I selected the breakfast option in my booking) I went to reception to speak to reception and asked for help(in a non-confrontational manner) as I thought the breakfast was in my booking. As I was speaking to one reception staff member a lady came out of the office behind the reception and told me " You should go and check your booking", I tried to elaborate that I couldn't see the detailed version of my booking so I was merely looking for clarity and if it was not included I would pay, to which she responded abruptly and "we don't touch your bookings we take them as they come in, this is your problem" in all essence I just wanted to understand my booking, nobody gave me that assistance in the end. I paid regardless. however the reception staff does not treat a person as nicely as the rest of the staff, what should have been a 30 second conversation and a check became a conversation with a person who raised their voice at me without any provocation, I maintained a level and inside voice she was less professional than a staff member at a hotel should be.
Ideally located for someone who doesn't want to be in the thick of Cape Town while having brilliant views of: table mountain, lions head and Robben Island, a fantastic place to stay with the right people.

NetherlandsThe hotel and apartments have seen better days - they are a little work with holes in the carpets and tired looking kitchens and bathrooms. That said, it was clean and tidy and I would definitely stay again. Great value for money
The staff were very friendly and could not do enough - from answering questions before we arrived to our daily interactions. The location is briliant - close to Cape Town central but far enough to be in the suburbs. Although we opted for the cheaper view (ie not sea facing) it turned out to be a lovely view over the vlei and the water birds kept us entertained each morning.
