The host was amazing, very helpful, accommodating and friendly. Environment was very child-friendly and the dogs were very affection towards children. We definitely will come back again!!!

We were greeted at the gate by Jane with friendliness and a warm smile..... Blue Space Beach Shack is one of the most delightful places we have ever staid at. The place is a gem and I would recommend Blue Space Beach Shack to all my family and friends . The view is to die for and with Dolphins and Whales passing by every morning a blessing to see.....and the shack... well words can't describe for what we experienced. All you need in a cosy little cabin. Love the Blue Space Beach Shack..... We'll be back.... To Jane and her family, Thanks for your friendly welcome and great service... There's nothing not to like.

The owners are the most caring people I've ever met ...such wonderful souls....their love and care made our stay incredible.......the place is beautiful,inside and out.......GOOD WIFI SIGNAL....NETFLIX,LIVE STREAMING........WE SURELY WILL BE BACK .. .SUCH PEOPLE BRING A JOY TO MY SOUL.

The pictures don’t do the shack justice. The view of the ocean was a plus, the kitchen with is window view of the ocean = beautiful and I loved the indoor/outdoor shower 🚿 I was traveling alone and felt completely safe. It was easy to get in and out of the property. I will definitely be booking again 😊

Absolutely loved staying in the Beach Shack everything was so perfect and Absolutely stunning. The views are gorgeous and we will most definitely be back. Our hosts were so welcoming and helpful and made us feel so at home!!! One of our best Holidays ever. Thank you for everything!

There has been love poured into this property. such awesome attention to detail and has absolutely everything you need. The ocean view from this elevated cottage provide the most epic views from sunrise to sunset. short walk to a private beach pretty much to top it off. hosts were super kind, and friendly. Stay longer than you think you will need !

What wasn’t clear is there are two units to hire. One is at the back of the property. Booking.com doesn’t make it clear that you’re hiring the back unit when in fact you think you’re hiring the front one! The back unit has a steep slope and an elderly person wouldn’t manage especially getting down, so kindly we were given the front unit. I think that one is mostly kept for owners family.

I took my disabled mom for a one night adventure to Umzumbe because finally the weather was calm and sunny. I liked the sea so close and the dolphins swimming at dawn.

We struggled a little with getting heated water.

Feeling of being in a tree-house with incredible ocean views. Lovely set -up with 2 bedrooms and a semi- outdoor shower. Cozy balcony with with comfortable sitting for star-gazing in the cool evenings.

We were there for one night and were comfortable and felt very secure, had a quick walk down to the beach for a swim after we arrived. Bedrooms a bit of a squeeze, but beds comfortable and fell asleep to the sound of waves, slept very well. A few stairs to get up and then into the cabin, but we loved the experience and the view is amazing. No aircon but a breeze off the sea and many fans, the rooms were all cool even with the hot weather we had. Hosts are super friendly, live on site.

The shower water was uncontrollable. Either to hot or full cold. When you try to decrease the temp the gas heater shuts down and it goes full cold. You turn it up slowly and then it goes full hot. Not nice.
