We had a funeral nearby and my husband went to assist, when he got back, the gate was closed and he was locked outside the gate for nearly 30 min.

The food is substandard. We had breakfast and dinner there once. Could not get ourselves to go back. The waiters are friendly but need upskilling on the wines they offer. The Spar in Graskop is terrible so stock up in Sabie should you wanting to go the self catering route

One can only get drinking water from the scullery room. There are no taps next to stands. The close proximity of stands takes away the tranquility and the real sense of camping.

The tent was clean inside. The front tent shade potion seemed to not have been swept. Cutlery is basic, I would have preferred a potjie. Throwing in a microwave oven would also be nice.

My sinuses flared up, the carpet and blankets were a bit dusty. I didn't like that they do not have backup, so there's no lights during loadshedding.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The place is well kept and clean.

The breakfast wasn't so great and the staff wasn't very nice. We did everything on our own without any support from the staff, and yet, there's an expectation for gratuity when you settle your bill.

It's always great to be around nature, and this resort provides exactly that, which brings me calm, and my kids love it. The swimming pool is great. It's a home away from home for me and my family.

An update would be nice. Inside it is a bit dark. You need a car, even to get from the accommodation to the restaurant.

The location so close to Blyde River Canyon was amazing. It was quiet and the little houses were clean and well equipped. Beds were comfortable. Restaurant is good.

It would be great to know the loadshedding schedule for when you're there. We woke up one morning to no power and couldn't do anything for breakfast as we couldn't use the stove and had to wait for it to be over- but of course this isn't the venues fault. The restaurant food also want great. It was okay, but not great.

When the weather is good, the views are amazing. We hiked and braai'd, and traveled to many of the different attractions in the area. The house was comfortable and clean.

There were a couple of maintenance issues in our friends' Standard King Room, which had a tiny kitchen. We had to buy meat for a braai at the shop, but found the choice pretty limited and the quality disappointing.

The location is amazing: there is an upper look-out point with beautiful views of the 3 rondawels and the canyon lake. There are also several walks, of diverse lengths and fitness levels. The restaurant offers a very nice buffet and the staff is friendly. As the chalet we had booked was not ready, we got upgraded to a 6-person one, which was very spacious and bright, with a wonderful sitting room.
