The location was fantastic. We always look for some tranquility after work. The sound of the river in the background, and the natural beauty were just perfect, and could not ask for more. The early morning hike was also fantastic. Gay was also most helpful and made sure we knew where everything was and how everything worked. Will most definitely stay over again when in the Hoedspruit.

The bed slightly a bit uncomfortable and would be nice if check out can be from 10h00 instead of 9h00 so we can enjoy the beautiful morning on the deck

The sound of the river, the cabin is super clean and its home Away from home would love to try the hiking trail and stay more days. Highly recommend for relaxation 👌 😎

We absolutely loved our stay at Blyde River Cabins! A little cabin tucked into the woods right next to the river with wildlife roaming around. The cottage was spacious and well equipped and we each had our own bathrooms, which is always a perk! The hosts were really helpful and recommended activities. There is so much to do in the area - from caves to boat tours and hiking! We hope to be able to return to this piece of paradise one day. Thank you Gay and Willem!

I loved every minute of our stay. There is nothing I could complain about!

Being a totally self-catering facility, you are responsible for your own meals. The cooking facilities are exceptional, and if they haven't got it, it doesn't exist! Very comfortable beds and lovely bathrooms.

There are no restaurants.i was afraid to go near the river as the surrounding was scary.there are logs and too many bushes if only they can clean a little part of the river so people can be able to relax

Everything was 👌.

The privacy and environment. The place is peaceful, beautiful, and brings one back together with nature. The cabin has a full kitchen with all utensils you need, love that. Feels like home away from home.

Really nothing to remark.

The house, the location, the hospitality, basically everything was exceptional. The kids bush walk was thoroughly enjoyed by both kids and parents. The sunset drive was magnificent.

Dragging the luggage down the ( admittedly short) grassy slope to the cabin! We had the 2 bed, the 3 bed looked much easier with the car space right outside.

Loved sitting in the Jacuzzi listening to the noise of the river and the call of the Trumpeter Hornbills.

There is not a single thing I didn't like

The location is so secluded, very private, near a flowing river that you can hear from the cabin. Animals roam around freely from Kruger National Park so we go to see Giraffes, baboons and Impalas while taking a walk around the facility. The Cabin was well equipped for self catering. The view from the cabin was beautiful. Willem and Gay we very helpful and friendly, even went out of their way to try n get a house snake from our engine which was really kind. If you are looking for a quiet, secluded getaway surrounded by nature, this is definitely the best place to visit 🥰🥰

Right on the Blyde River tucked into the bushveld.... so close to Hoedspruit central but still feels wild. Gay and Willem have thought of everything for a comfortable stay with a sustainable focus. They get this place and people like us.

I’m not sure if there was a miscommunication I took it all cabins have a private pool but only one cabin has the other doesn’t and there’s no swimming pool.

We booked the whole house for 2 nights but because we were 2 they locked off the other rooms in the house and the other bathrooms too which felt a bit rude to do

The stringent and narrow checking in times ( between 15h00 and 17h00, thereafter a penalty of R500 applies. Checkout time is also way earlier than usual, 09h00 the latest. If you wish to leave before 06h00, a breakage fine of R2000 applies. Very inflexible and less favorable terms for travelers.
