The lady at reception area needs to customer service training, her service and welcoming was not as per our expectations and she didn't do much of the explanation about the room and the venue , only responded when the question was asked

Nothing major, but staff at the restaurant needs training on customer service. Bottled water in the rooms and wi fi were not provided.

Upgrades to the access road from the N12. Solar farm doubling as shaded parking so no loadshedding. Check in was hassle free (professional staff). Excellent service and 5 star facilities at the Veldhaven spa. Gym just next to the spa.The food at the restaurant was excellent.

Wasn’t pleased that we couldn’t get good network signal in the stables. We were ok without the wifi but simple network reception was not pleasing.

The bed was not comfortable, making some sounds when you turn, also sloping towards the headboard. I reported it but unfortunately the maintenance guy was not available. Also for improvement, please at least have 3 irons for the premises, waited for iron to a point where we decided to change the outfit as it could not be located.

Being the first time travelling to a lodge in North West, I was impressed by Bona Bona from the entrance, pavement leading all the way to the reception, the structure and design of the buildings, so beautiful. The check-in was easy, the staff was friendly, the restaurant with its food was good and value for money. The prices for drinks are not really bad as well. The rooms are also clean. Thank you for 203 (sports channel)😂😂. How can I forget the game drive and predator feeding guided by an amazing man by the name of Luke, we really enjoyed them a lot, a great guy with so much to share, his experience, knowledge about animals is amazing. We saw hippos, rhinos, impala, zebras, giraffes, etc. If you go for a game drive and it's not Luke, postponed 😂😂😂till he's the one driving.

The spa is the best spa ever!!!! definitely highly recommended! The staff is very attentive, the bar man Sam was taking good care of us with beautiful cocktails. Facilities are excellent! We will be back!

This is my 3rd time here and this time it was clear that the staff was not on top of their game. We wanted to have a quick drink at the bar before the game drive.....but was ignored for a while....untill I asked to be served. I then asked for a wifi code as their was zero reception .....but the one staff member to the next said ask this one or that one as they are busy.....never got the code.All I wanted was to post a photo to Instagram to promote the establishment..... After the game drive and Preditor viewing we went to dinner and asked for balsamic vinager....but was told they do not have. In the morning we went to breakfast and it was not what I was bad...... Pleanty staff but nobody was paying attention.... Around 9 there was no coffee.....no cups.....no juice......no butter......We had to bring every single thing that was short to their attention....and then it took for ever to fetch.2 pieces of tomato was in the serving dish....till 9h45 that we left.....never topped up. The lady preparing the eggs was not the usual guy.....and she struggled. She refused to make us ommelets as she was already 7 behind.....baked eggs was a issue to her as well. No scramble option was availible....to take the pressure off this lady trying to prepare eggs for a full restaurant..... Looked like the staff was over worked...and some of them told me they are tired from working after last weeks auction.

Always love the game drive..... The rooms are spacious and cool. Nice big shower. Restaurant has a beautiful view over the water hole.....secure parking.

Clear directions upon arrival to the ease upon accessing the property. The staff was extremely pleasant from the moment we walked in to when we checked out. Definitely value for money as the premises houses amazing facilities and leaves you wanting more which will prompt me to come back for a longer stay. The restaurant and the Spa are just as amazing

The restaurant staff ignored us most of the time. It was such a hassle to get dinner on the first night and when we did, the food was cold. We were told that they were too busy to make us cocktails and after settling for another option we watched while they made other guests cocktails drinks. We tried the wings on the second night, we were not given spice level options and found the wings to be hot but bland.

The room was cozy, clean and beautiful. The bush picnic was the definition of serenity: it was peaceful and quite enjoyable. The spa was the best I ever visited, a definite 10/10; the staff friendly and the facilities were absolutely amazing. The massage was perfect

The stay was so relaxing and the food delicious. The staff made us feel like VIPs, especially Sam who explained to us all the activities, showed us the beautiful wine cellar, gave us the history of some of the wine and beer. The accommodation had everything we needed and was very clean.

Weirdly enough, and I don’t mean to make it about race, but the white staff (like the rangers and the lady at the spa) were really friendly and took good care of us. Whereas some of the black and coloured staff were hostile. Definitely the people at the restaurant were giving off weird energy, but we didn’t care because we got our food and only tipped people who deserved it.

Truly a stunning place to visit. It’s so relaxing there. Can I just rave about the spa for a bit? What an experience. The views are breathtaking, the treatment was amazing, and the giant heated pool/jacuzzi was out of this world. Back to the stay, 10/10, game drive was great and the chefs were on form too!
