Strong smell from the bathroom, unsure if it was cleaning products or the water - wasn't unpleasant as such, but was a strong smell all the same.

Amazing view! Beautiful room with everything you could think of for cooking too, including a BBQ and all the tools. Aircon is very good and we were text telling us the load shedding times, as well as left with candles and solar powered lamps to help us. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful!

Nothing not to like at all, but some suggestions would be to improve the lighting with more side lamps etc. - the central bulbs are quite bright and glaring but when turned off it was a little too dark. As I say, nothing not to like, just a suggestion, and possibly due only to the fact I am a blind old git.

What a lovely place! Location close to Boulders Beach was just exceptional. Simons Town is really quaint and I wish we could have explored longer. The apartment itself is spacious and well-equipped. We stayed in the ground floor apartment, which doesn't have uninterrupted views of penguins, but has a nice patio onto the garden and access to the small pool. I am sure our hosts were and are exceptional, but we didn't meet them ... (we are reclusive types when on holiday) - but all our interactions have been really good, and Heather could not have done more to tempt us out of our shells.

Amazing room with a view overlooking the beautiful Boulders Beach! Heather the property manager/owner was incredibly responsive and made sure everything was great. Loved the close proximity to the penguins and delicious local restaurants.

The narrow step staircase to access the apartment may be a challenge for some. No fault of the property but the noise from the road in the early parts of the morning was disturbing. Having some rooibos tea as an option with the Ceylon tea and coffee would have been nice.

The view, the big bed. The willingness of the owners to accommodate us for an early check-in. The owners also went an extra mile to fulfill a special request from a friend who wanted to gift us with flowers. The milk provided for tea and coffee.

Located very close to the secluded Boulders beach which is a great place to go with kids even if the South Easter wind is blowing as it is sheltered. Nice view Shops etc located a short drive away

Absolutely nothing, it was perfect!

An absolutely beautiful apartment in a stunning location. Heather was very accommodating as a last minute cancellation meant we arrived very early and she was still able to accommodate us. the apartment is beautiful, comfortably furnished and a very short walk from the penguins. ideal for a family or group of friends looking to enjoy an incredible experience. The highlight of our trip!

Honestly I can't say that there is anything I didn't like.

The view was amazing. We were lucky enough to have been there during a full moon and the moon glistening on the waves was quite a sight. We had our privacy and everything you need was already provided. It's self catering so obviously all we needed to bring was our food. Overall it was an awesome and relaxing stay. The air-conditioner was a life saver as it was extremely hot over the weekend. I loved it and will be sure to come back again.

The view is absolutely stunning. The binoculars in the property was a plus! We also enjoyed having breakfast and a braai on the balcony, which was very convenient and comfortable. The bed was comfortable.
