You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

South Africano WiFi and no generator for load shedding currently up to 4 hours at a time or 6 hours a day. so Sunday morning we couldn’t make w coffee in the room 6-10 am. and I doubt the restaurant next door in the accommodation facility could help us with that due to the same problem.

We loved the location of our room right above the jetty. It was like watching an action movie observing the fishing boats coming and going. Yet, really peaceful and quiet. We had a lovely time there! The restaurant Spasie at Breede was also exceptional in their operations over this hectic festive season. The food was excellent and the staff was wonderful.

South AfricaThe rooms could have a better numbering system. The only way we knew where room 308 was, was by trying the keys in the doors until a room opened. The reception lady told us the number was on the main door which had to be accessed via steps. So you have to approach from the other side of your parking, climb a flight only to discover you're at the wrong door. Not well thought out. And the reception lady was oblivious to the issue. All she responded was "the number is on the door" not thinking about how you get to the door in the first place. Then there is the restaurant billing system. Place food order at food counter. Pay for food. Place drinks order at bar counter. Pay for drinks. No table service. They do bring your food but every time you need another drink, go to the bar counter. Seems a bit archaic and outdated. There must have been some kind of problem the have such a strange system in place. Minor irritation but still an irritation. Rant over.
The location is excellent. Watching the people having fun on the Breede Rivier is a great way to spend time. The beach down the drag is very calm. Perfect for a family vacation. A bit far for us to visit regularly but I would love to come back now that I know how the room numbers work, or don't. See below.

South AfricaThe kitchen could be a little better equipped. It needs a cork screw, vegetable roasting dish, drying towels, a cheese grater and better quality cutlery. It was a pity that the marina was under renovation. The Pili pili restaurant had average food. For the price one would expect better.
The apartment was neat and nicely renovated. The location was good. The view was great The door to the parking was very convenient. We enjoyed the indoor braai / fireplace. The beds were comfortable.
