no WiFi and no generator for load shedding currently up to 4 hours at a time or 6 hours a day. so Sunday morning we couldn’t make w coffee in the room 6-10 am. and I doubt the restaurant next door in the accommodation facility could help us with that due to the same problem.

I arrived quite late on a Sunday (3:30pm), then there is no option to get food or drinks. Everything in town was closed. I thought the resort might have something to buy. No Wifi in the room.

Aircons did not seem to work and DSTV stopped working on the second day. They did offer to move us but we were happy where we were.

We loved the location of our room right above the jetty. It was like watching an action movie observing the fishing boats coming and going. Yet, really peaceful and quiet. We had a lovely time there! The restaurant Spasie at Breede was also exceptional in their operations over this hectic festive season. The food was excellent and the staff was wonderful.

The unit where we started of in was flea infected and had no blankets. Also the tv didn't work. We complained and the staff immediately moved us to a different unit that was so much better. Also the places is very over priced and not well maintained unfortunately.

Beautiful views and surprisingly a lot to do. Friendly staff and the food at the restaurant is brilliant.

The room was very clean, but needed to be aired as it smelt smoky from the previous night's fire.

The views from the main window were great. It was also easy to access the river from the room.

The rooms could have a better numbering system. The only way we knew where room 308 was, was by trying the keys in the doors until a room opened. The reception lady told us the number was on the main door which had to be accessed via steps. So you have to approach from the other side of your parking, climb a flight only to discover you're at the wrong door. Not well thought out. And the reception lady was oblivious to the issue. All she responded was "the number is on the door" not thinking about how you get to the door in the first place. Then there is the restaurant billing system. Place food order at food counter. Pay for food. Place drinks order at bar counter. Pay for drinks. No table service. They do bring your food but every time you need another drink, go to the bar counter. Seems a bit archaic and outdated. There must have been some kind of problem the have such a strange system in place. Minor irritation but still an irritation. Rant over.

The location is excellent. Watching the people having fun on the Breede Rivier is a great way to spend time. The beach down the drag is very calm. Perfect for a family vacation. A bit far for us to visit regularly but I would love to come back now that I know how the room numbers work, or don't. See below.

The kitchen could be a little better equipped. It needs a cork screw, vegetable roasting dish, drying towels, a cheese grater and better quality cutlery. It was a pity that the marina was under renovation. The Pili pili restaurant had average food. For the price one would expect better.

The apartment was neat and nicely renovated. The location was good. The view was great The door to the parking was very convenient. We enjoyed the indoor braai / fireplace. The beds were comfortable.

I would have liked the fisherman's courters to Atleast have a heater in for the winter, maybe an Xtra blanket also it was very cold in the room and outside is no lights that was working for such a long passage only 1 light worked.
