This is a stunning hidden gem. Beautiful manor house with excellent facilities and the most picturesque views. The staff were simply wonderful and attentive to all our needs. Breakfast was exceptional and they even prepared a packed breakfast for an early departure for my spouse. I highly recommend this to any traveller wanting to experience the greater Addo area.

The tranquility and serenity of the place tied in with excellent hosts makes for a special stay. The facilities are excellent and the food is fit for a king. This felt like home away from home. We will definitely be back and hopefully with friends or family to enjoy it with.

Broadlands is a delightful country house set within a working citrus farm in a tranquil setting. Our accommodation (Lily Cottage) was spacious and comfortable. We had opted for dinner at the property which was delicious and we enjoyed an excellent freshly cooked breakfast on the stoep of the main house. The staff are friendly very professional. Easy secure parking.

The deck of the bungalow was a real bonus but would be even better if there was comfortable furniture to sit on and a watertight roof so that you can sit out there when it’s raining.

Very welcoming staff. Lovely breakfasts. Close enough to Addo to visit easily. We stayed in Whyte cottage which was very comfortable. The pool was super.

We missed being able to open a window in our bedroom as we do not enjoy sleeping with the aircon on at night.

Broadlands is the perfect location for a relaxing “getaway from it all” break. It’s tranquil, comfortable and welcoming. Lisha and her colleagues make you feel you are guests in a private country house. The breakfasts and (if you choose to have supper in the house) evening meals are excellent. A real oasis.

There was nothing to dislike!

Broadlands is a wonderful place to stay. We are so sad we only managed to come for one night. The house is beautiful, we were made to feel like VIPs and the room was large, comfortable and immaculately clean. Patricia was so kind and welcoming, and even made us “breakfasts to go” as we had to leave early for the airport. Amazing accommodation.

I think although the wash up area is ample, it could be improved on. Table clothes/ wider cutting boards would also be a nice touch.

Beautiful peaceful location, stunning gardens and access to main house pool(which was perfect to laze around on the 1 Jan 2022 - what a way to bring in the new year). Tastefully decorated cottage with ample space. Very friendly staff.

The hadeda's were extremely noisy , especially in the early morning hours We do realize that there is little that can be done about this & we appreciate nature. I think they roost in the tall trees next to the dam.
